I figure that the headbutt left Mosley feeling woozy and that's why he got caught. Shane is smart but he got amatuerish with his switching from orthodox to southpaw then back to orthodox. You should always wait until there is distance between you and the opponent before you change stances, otherwise you confuse yourself with hand positioning and where your head should move to should you be fired upon.

This is the fight that made me a Mosley fan. That round fucked him up hardcore, and he never recovered, then got beaten up badly for the rest of the fight. But he survived the entire fight even though he should have been knocked out about 14 different times.

mosley is very lucky the fight wasent stopped after the second knockdown. he locked very out of it. if there was more time in the round to finish the standing 8 count the ref might have stopped it

I don't think Mosley is one of the best. He had a title for about 1 minute. Then got dropped liked liljp's mom when she goes to a sailor's reunion. Mayorga Ko'd Forrest after Forrest had decisioned Mosley the second time.
Mosley never fought Forrest with authority. He needed a combination of courage and defense to beat Forrest. Should have kept the fight on the inside with this guy like Mayorga did.
