It's too bad Ike Williams manager was in with the mob. The fight was so close that I think that's what might have given him the edge. Ike landed more power punches but Bolanos punched throughout the entire fight.
Great upload. Bolanos was one of my dad's favorite fighters and I heard his name a few times growing up. It's really a treat to see him fight. And gratifying to see that he indeed, was a quality fighter. Too bad he came against a crusher like Williams.

You don't know who i am but my grandfather and your uncle are great friends who have lost contact over the years. They go as far back as when your uncle lived in Mexico City. After spending some time today with my grandparents they happened to mention your aunt and uncle. It would be great if we can reconnect them. Please mention to them my grandparents names: Benjamin and Jovita sandoval and let me know if they would like to get in contact with them.
I seen all 3 of the Williams/Bolanos fights live. I was 10 years old at the time of their first fight in 1946...Two great fighters...
