looking forward to seeing them on the water. im in the same boat....ha ha. weathers not cooperating lately. i want to get some footage of the swamp thing, and post it. you might get a kick out of it. problem is its so small its affected by the wind. we will see!
@MyPuppers requires a very tiny at the rear guide about 1/2 deep both sides i have not yet put one on nor upgraded to brushless and 3 or 4 blade prop.
never realy gave air boats a second thought befor! i just built a 6" x 3"micro air boat. had a micro jet (air hogs) foamy park flyer, crashed one to many times! i thought i would like to use the gear for somthing.didnt want to throw away, it still worked fine. now i have an air with duel motors, lipo bat. used some scrap balsa for the hull! tried her out on the water and she skimmed along pretty good. on the snow she was even faster! im loven the air boats. yours looks pretty cool!
just got a brushless and ese that fits this size boat : )

@MyPuppers i got a lipo engine for this one and the blue one shown with a gas engine has a brushless too..
have not got the weather to try the blue one out. its. too cold in Fla and i lack heavy clothes
