  • Lol I cringe watching this girl. Good song tho.

  • @xTheLostProphetx

Really, cause I think she's is one of the most gorgeous females I have ever seen!

  • The most effective way to promote a country, to "put it on the map" , is through music or/and sports. My opinion is that before this event probably 10% of the europeans knew that Azerbaijan is in Europe ( another fabrication - this country is in ASIA). If you can leave aside your subjectivity , and look at the big picture, you will realize that NOTHING about this competition ( in the last decade) is random. And that's the main reason Italy left 13 years ago ( I am not italian)

  • @wildmustang67 Generalizing 10% of Europeans as being ignorant of Azerbaijan without proof is just ridiculous. Furthermore, if you look at an actual map, half of Azerbaijan is in Asia, the other in Europe. Also, since Azerbaijan entered in 2008 they always were hot favourites to win with the bookies - so it's not that big of a shock. And can give at least one shred of evidence that Italy withdrew due to politics? If I recall, it's because none of the songs chart well.

  • @caitsith7 As stated before, neither Azerbaijan nor Germany won based on politics. The only example in the last 4-5 years is Dima back in 2008 where the eastern european countries virtually had to vote for him. So besides that, I don't see anything political motivated with Alexander Rybak, Lena or Ell/Nikki - more people just like the songs than those who don't.

  • @caitsith7 BTW , according to your channel , you were about 8-9 years old when the Italy "episode" happened. How can you " recall" they were not popular ?!? Oh, I know , you read about it .... It's OK , I respect your beliefs , and I wish you the best. Bye !

  • @wildmustang67 I don't have to "recall" anything - look at the Italian rating this year yourself even - they were very, very low, (just over 1 million viewers) and it's always been that way. I don't think there was any debate at all considering all that you've stated are conspiracy theories (unfortunately). Politics won it for Dima in 2008, but as stated, no-one after that has won purely on politics grounds.

  • @caitsith7 All my "conspiracy theories " are actually based on putting together facts that are ignored by people , because they are to busy listening to what media has to say. 100% of media propaganda are blatant lies. European Union destroyed the individuality of european nations & all the "news" are filtered and need to be approved by the mighty E.U. Greece, Italy, Spain had no problems until they " joined". This are facts, not theories. It's so sad that you are so blinded by the trees ...

  • @wildmustang67 I think you're just trying too hard now. It's quite evident that a lot of your 'facts' are false, and don't even make sense - for instance, Italy, and the 'oil' in Azerbaijan in 2008? ITV became part of EBU in 2007, so they were invited *before* that. And no-one is blind oi politics in Eurovision, I believe it is you who are blind to see that it ONLY affected the 2008 win. You've yet to prove what political gain would be had from Norway's, Germany's or Azerbaijan's victories.

  • @wildmustang67 So just saying 'Oh they ONLY won because of politics,' without even nominating ONE political advantage is ludicrous. Furthermore, please distinguish with what I said: that I understand WHY people voted for this, instead of 'I like chart-pop music,' since I've never said that. I don't like chart-pop whatsoever, but I don't need to shower hatred of it from every orifice. Also Lithuania -> Bosnia/Herz.

  • @caitsith7 I am proud to be considered a gentleman, so I will let you have the last word... Anyway, I don't know if you are married or not , but if you are your husband is a lucky guy. You are so passionate about your beliefs, that is a great quality in a woman. And no, I'm not mocking you. It was nice "debating" with you.

  • @caitsith7 I was really enjoying this debate until you put down the italian singers ( which by the way were often the favorites , they won twice and they were 3 times on second place). That proved to me that you are one of the many victims of intense brainwashing media propaganda . FYI : Azerbaijan ( who was "invited" to Eurovision the same year they discovered huge oil fields in the country), Turkey, Israel, Georgia , are NOT european countries. You can not be 50/50 geographically.

  • @wildmustang67 Since when did I ever "put down" Italy? I said that none of the Eurovision songs charted well in Italy, which isn't 'brainwashing' - it's true. So why would a nation bother wasting cashloads for a low-rating show (in Italy) where no-one actually buys any of the songs? And in regards to Azerbaijan, they entered into 2008 because ITV became part of the European Broadcasting Union (which means they get access to Euro shows outside of Eurovision).

  • @caitsith7 50 cent, Lady CaCA, Bieberama, techno half-naked "singers", rappers grabbing their "jewels" - this is the "music" of the new generation , hence " high ratings". If you defend someone just because has "high ratings" , you are just a follower.. Please take couple of minutes , and listen to Bosnia's song " love in rewind" , and maybe you will understand what good music is about : originality, voice, interpretation, and meaning. Ask yourself why they didn't win(I'm not bosniac)

  • @wildmustang67 Don't even bother. they're too stupid to understand.

  • @Rattlepiece I am a Don Quijote ( unfortunately)....

  • @wildmustang67 I think everyone is entitled to not like particular a song/genre - but the moment such people start venting about how crap/shit/stupid such songs are, it doesn't make them any better than the chart-pop "followers." Just leave people who enjoy pop to enjoy their music. After all, that IS the whole spirit of Eurovision.

  • SAX GUYYYY!!!!!

  • She's so pretty! ;D

  • Ein großartiger Song, ein hübsche nette unbedarfte junge Frau und kein Schnickschnack drumherum, dass war wirklich gut ausgewählt von Stefan Raab & Co.

  • Wait. If she won this Eurovision then why was she in the 2011 one... (Sorry I live in the U.S) You can do that on this show?

  • @ipodgirlpeace2 Yes, you can participate as many time as you want. :-P

  • She sounds like retard teenager on drugs ! Fucking politics destroying everything ...

  • @wildmustang67 Politics had nothing to do with it, for if it did, none of the Big 5 countries would ever win since the eastern countries tend to vote for one another.

  • @caitsith7 Six of the eastern countries voted for Germany (12 points), plus most of the nordic countries , and Germany 's neighbors. If that is not politics ..... Plus, if you've watched the 2011 edition, the winning song it was another " tragedy". This contest stopped to be about promoting good music more than a decade ago ...

  • @wildmustang67 'Satellite' was in the Top 5 of the singles charts for THIRTEEN countries (6th in Slovakia). It was also in the Top 30 in the UK and Australia. Obviously, it's a good song to the general public, hence why it won Eurovision. If it *was* about politics, then why didn't Germany get even ONE 12 this year? And 2011 wasn't about politics either - seriously, what political gain could countries like Romania, Malta and Moldova gain from AZERBAIJAN?

  • @caitsith7 In a world that garbage like Lady CaCa is number one selling"artist", it's not a surprise that "Satelitte" was in the top of the charts...Obviously you don't understand the meaning of the word "politics" if you think Germany was in the cards this year. If you want to know more about this event , and what it became , search the case of ITALY (out from Eurovision for 13 years !!). Now they are coming back .... for polical reasons.

  • @wildmustang67 Like I said - it's accessible to the "general public", so just because you don't like the song doesn't mean it didn't deserve to win (this wasn't my favourite either, but I can see why it won). And would you stop accusing me of not understanding politics and explain what so-called 'politics' existed this year and last year? And Italy came back the same reason Dana International did - because being a Big Five country, Germany would have one of the best production values.

  • @wildmustang67 Also, neither Lena or Ell/Nikki won because of politics. San Marino entered for political reasons in 2011 (because of Italy) and Dima's win in 2008 was politically motivated. Greece and Cyprus always vote for one another big time, same deal with UK and Ireland, and Russia, Ukraine and the eastern countries. But the fact that both Azerbaijan and Lena won, goes to show that they won IN SPITE OF the other contestant's diaspora, 'political' voting.

  • If this is the winning song....what an embaressment!

  • she looks like Kristen Stewart (Bella - Twilight)

  • @marylove1002 I don't think so...and I don't think it would be a compliment if she did :)

  • Sax guy won 100%

  • germany in 2010 gived to europe the biggest credit that's why they won thumbs down

  • she won because she is CUTE thats all rightful winners are Turkey

  • Lena can't sing. She shouldn't have won. She's horrible.

  • She's insanely hot.

  • The song is pretty good and the girl of exceptional beauty compared with other German women. From Lithuania.

  • lovely song and sweet girl. she deserved. im turkish:D

  • lovely song and sweet girl. she deserves.come from turkey :D

  • I didn't like this song before, but now it's kinda catchy. I still think Portugal should've won, and I'm from the UK!

  • Strangely, I actually liked this song more BEFORE the contest, and less NOW. I thought it was an okay song, but not winning-quality. I preferred Armenia, but I don't think that was victory-quality either. (Maybe more like Azerbaijan, Denmark, or Greece)

  • She's nice...but Romania (that was pure epicness) should've won...And Paula had one of the best vocals in the history of esc,I mean, she's the best Romanian singer and was Eurovision Next Top Model...

  • lena is not a good singer, but in porn industry that will be more better!! ;)

  • @s0nic1994 ahahha good joke :) or you are serious? I don't care I love Romania & Greece,,, any case Germany have a political win....

  • won cos she's pretty.....that's why. People hatin' after their eurovision boner is gone. Loved Turkey's song and wanted to see Britain get 0 points.

    -Scottish

  • Wow, why so much hate? I thought she was pretty good.

  • I still wonder how she won!

  • Hopefully jedward will at least stop us from coming last this year! WOO IRELAND!!!!!

  • she's very cute but I don't think that this is the best song of eurvision

  • Why do so many people hate her? I love her even more than Bieber.

  • @nickyckw LOL. Really?

  • why are people hating on this person...

I find it actually god and quite catchy

Although I like Greece and Romania's song better she must have worked hard to sing this well so give her a break people T-T

  • It's not fair!!! Romania's song is much better than germany's song!!! Well, I sincerely hate this song!!

  • she sucks ass.

    I am sorry.

    she really is horrible.

When she started to sing my dog started to bite my leg O.o

  • you only are jealous.. if this song didnt won you will say: GREAT SONG.. REAL WINNER

    lol

  • @CrapiJohn Totally agree...

  • @CrapiJohn so true...

  • @CrapiJohn you're right

  • @CrapiJohn very true...

  • I dont love her song, but I cant name any other song that should have won, so I guess that the right song won. She sent an important message, that eurovision shouldnt be about big show, expensive dresses and fire-works, but about music. That is why I support her win and I hope that this year we will see as little as possible of fireworks, stupid coreographies and other stupifing trics. I want an eurovision where there will be all about the music.

    And little promotion:

    Vote for Slovenia

    Go Maja!

  • i think she was sleep with jury members..

  • Listening to her is torture. Both listening AND looking at her at the same time is even worse.

  • @vince117 then why the hell you are clicking on video with Lena name on it??

  • @nbss by accident. i admit it was a mistake on my part. i shouldn't have done it. sorry if i hurt your feelings, but i thought she was terrible

  • oh dear... she won??? and she's representing germany??? again??? god save eurovision... and i'm an atheist...

  • Vote your top 10 from the ESC 2011 in my channel! :D

  • haha voll die leiche xD

  • @TheIcelandicPatriot but baby! you don't have to tell me NOTHING about word wars. im Polish. you just DESTROYED my WHOLE country! and no, you're wrong, i've seen there some pretty girls, but i have many german friends - they all keep saying there's no too much pretty womens

  • ripeljowax3. And i have gone to Germany four times and i can tell you that there are pretty girls all the way from munchen to berlin from megdenburg to koblenz.

  • Sto kriwi owako noge!!!!

  • I like the song and her voice, but the combo is soooo not good. Im sure she has better songs, but this is not one of them. Not the worst, but defiantly not her best @.@

  • The song is great and a singer is cute and not typical...

  • hey english people, answer me. can you just understand a fuckin word?

  • oh God! she dance like she has a stick in her ass =))))

  • soo goood ^^

im german :D and the eurovision is in my place ^^

  • 0.39 0.43 what a fail xD

  • It is so bad...

    Diladi einai toso xaliaa

  • Honestly, she's not that bad! The song is catchy, even if the accent makes her voice strange. But I've seen MUCH BETTER. Seriously. France (so catchy), Turkey (I'm in love with the song) and Lithuania (it's so amazingly original!!), maybe Ukraine too, those 4 were in my top list. But it's my own opinion.

  • :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) :)) i can't belive

  • Laaave oh laave xD wtf

Belgium should have won ! Tom Dice <3

  • This song reminds me of an old friend of mine... his name was adolf

  • SIE WAR DIE BESTE DIESES JAHR!!!

  • i think they only let her win because she was the youngest person who entered and she does sound funny also she says the same thing offten

  • Why sing in english while u cant do it properly?

  • @Danerdinho: But she can do it properly, and she does. So shut up.

  • germany YEAHHH xD

  • Stupid song don't deserves to win ridiculous text

  • @Mrokanx007: Yes, it deserved to win. OF COURSE it deserved to win! Because it got more points than any other song in the competition. I had more fans than any other song in the competition! It had 76 points more than the second best. 246-170, there is not doubt: Lena deserved to win.

You have to learn democracy, fool.

  • The people here are jaleaus of lena!!!

    LENA WAS THE BEST!

    10 points from turkey!!!

not 12 sorry, because Azerbaijan is an turkish nation, we give azerbaijan every year 12 :P

  • Germany deserved to win.

    So STFU or GTFO!

  • Worst winner ever ,

  • @namlun1995

It is bad copy of Lily Alen

  • @ZmagaNS: Lena is not a bad copy of anbody else, but the original Lena. Lena is Lena.

  • @namlun1995: Are you always so wrong in your poor life?

  • afinacion sospechosa xD

  • I have a question i'm not one to judge but i'm fluent in english and her english isn't very good, i have seen her in interviews and she sturggles with the most simple words. Also she is from Germany and representing Germany shouldn't she sing in German?

  • @x3madcandyxD There used to be a rule that you had to sing in one of your countries official languages, but they got rid of that rule years ago. Now people can sing in any language they want.

Which I'm happy about, because then countries like the UK, Ireland and Malta would have an advantage because they would be able to sing in English. And almost everybody speaks English.

    .......

She has such a weird accent. But I like the song and I'm glad it won. As long as a good song wins, I'm happy.

  • The worst winner song i ever heard

  • without canine tooth vampirela
