Hahaha, my siamese cat Nala hates the water but whenever she is sticky, dirty or just really hot in the sun, I usually give her a bath to make her comfortable. siamese hate baths but I realize on occasion, they might need one. I hope you trim his claws before it and maybe put a tiny harness on him to hold onto, instead of using your hands to try to hold him. you might have a much easier experience next time.
Sweetmeli - You seem to forget that cats go outside and get dirty or stinky. Even when they do, as you put it, clean 'there selves", this doesn't get rid of funk or fleas.

its ok to wash ur cat, veterinarians do it. Its healthy although they hate it ,they get over it quickly.
