huh i c... im aware of minutes and seconds also being measurements of a circles angles, but im still unsure why they chose to break the clock face into 12 sections, and what it signifies on an astrological level, and, what parallel is drawn between these events and the disciples here, and why.... any ideas let us know?!

tell me, wot happens? is that the disciples, presumably all 12 of them show at midday etc?

this draws a close parallel between the 12disciples and the 12 zodiac constellations does it not? presumably this is why there are 12 hours in a day? what astronimcal elements oes it have in all? im interested...

They show every hour on the hour, during the day.

There is a complex dial that is supposed to display the various astronomical data.

There is also a dial that shows the days of the year and the seasons - it was painted by Josef Manes, I think.
