Interesting pronunciation here! In English, we say "gee-ser". The yanks seem to love changing our words - they call this a "guy-ser"!

Another example I noticed recently was the way they've changed the way we pronounce 'patriot'. In English, we say "pat-tree-ot" (like it's spelt). In American they say "pay-tree-ot". Time to reclaim back the Colonies! lol.
