  • Such a beautiful cover ♥♥♥

  • he'll he will always be here and one day we will be with HIM

  • Elvis is really crying...He's in the care of GOD ABOVE...AMEEN

  • Beautiful

  • Love you Elvis xxx

  • I usually go to youtube and choose a song to play while search to other stuff on web, but this is one of those video that i just can't take the eyes from. Elvis put so much passion in his words. Elvis is the king!

  • I was born 8 years after this man passed away and yet I feel like I know him inside and out from listening to his extraordinary voice. Whether it's a good day or bad day, The King always blares out of my stereo. Even now I'm having a beer and being schmoozed by The King. Happy fucking days!

  • Elvis did this so well that I got depressed listening to it and just shot myself.

  • makes me want to drop in my tracks.

  • It's not the best version of this song ever as is the hank williams version but it's such a great song it's hard to go wrong. I even like the volbeat version as different as that is.

  • UNTOUCHED

  • I love Elvis..but no one can sing this like BJ Thomas..the Best version out of all

  • I've been trying to get myself to cry for years

and this song finally did it

  • It's so funny to read people's complaints about how Elvis didn't write anything when the fact of the matter is with the golden voice and personality he had, it wasn't necessary for him to write anything. He sung better than anybody who wrote songs anyway. Bet your ass he could have written a masterpiece if he chose to though!

Something else to add -- When the greatest minds to ever grace the music industry ALL envy Elvis for what he had, that says a lot...pretty much everything.

  • BeholdAndSee93 93 must B when you were hatched. You certainly don't know much about"The Day" 2 for 213, wow! Nice going Ringo ! & how do you know he wrote 2? could be like the Elvis songs that U claim 2 KNOW he had nothing 2 do with.(U were there right?) Any Drug Induced Slushbrain could write the crap U call songs.(write what U C) & 4 the 3rd

Stop trying to compare "THE KING" to the peasants. Apples to Apples fool.

drug induced slushbrained idiot could produce

  • @williamwayneboyd stop bockering about elvis and the beatles, too different types of artists, both elvis and john lennon were gods to me.

  • WONDERFUL!! ELVIS!! Thank you.

  • He killed this song it's too bad hanks version is a classic I don't think anyone could do it as good as him

  • Thadsgal Hope U don't drive.Forgetting to put it in gear before opening the

throttle is similar to leaving your brain in neutral when U open your mouth !

My comment was for someone else who made the comparison between

the 2.- not me. "Apples To Apples " means (In English) you can't compare

2 things that are totally different. Good luck on Planet Earth.

  • @dyne313 No doubt, the Beatles wrote a lot of stuff , but I thought you were

talking quality. It must have taken someone (probably Ringo) about a week to

come up with lyrics like " I Love You Ya Ya Ya" that was practically the entire

song. Elvis on the other hand actually Did do some writing / co -writing but he

was so bound by movie deals etc.( which he hated ) that he barely had time to sing. Apples to apples.Name 1 solo act to compare to Elvis, maybe

    compare Beatles to the Stones.

  • @williamwayneboyd actually, Elvis wanted to be an actor but was pushed toward singing instead. And comparing him with the Beatles is oxymoron. They're two totally different genres.

  • @williamwayneboyd You're an idiot. The Beatles recorded 213 songs. Ringo wrote 2 of those. "I love you ya ya ya" was never in a Beatles song, and your referring to the bubblegum pop Beatles, which Lennon and McCartney dismissed as garbage they could write in 5 minutes. Elvis wrote none of his songs although he is in the songwriting credits for 9 songs ..none of which he actually helped write

  • that looks like a tear to me

  • LONG LIVE THE KING!!!

  • this is the song I play now... all the time

  • the king

  • We still miss you Elvis.

  • oh boy!

  • R.I.P elvis.. we will always remember you

  • Love it

  • yes

  • elvis's mom also died at 45.

longevity is a roll of the dice. don't let the media tell differently.

  • my mom loves Elvis i like hank williams this is for both of us

  • I never heard Elvis sing this song before but he almost has Hank beat.

  • I first knew the version of Volbeat, which is fantanstic! But the original version of Elvis is still untouchable!

  • @Jesterheaded The original was Hank Williams in 1949

    .

  • @cbenson5 Really? Ok, I didn't know this. I know a lot about the music of today, but only in Heavy Metal, so that was a stupid mistake of mine;) But whatever, all the versions are more or less Country-Blues.

  • I first knew the version of Volbeat, which is fantanstic! But the original version of Elvis is stil untouchable!

  • Wow he looked really amazing!

  • omg i loved and stll love ELVIS

  • We are all so lonesome now that Elvis is no longer here with us .cause he brought the world together . since he left us the world has gone to shit. think about it .. the singers now adays could not sound close to my farts. hahaha. Thanks for the songs & the greatests voice ever to be heard.Elvis is & always be The King of the entertaintment world .Who we needed & wanted ,& still ach for .

  • why's he crying? or is it just sweat?

  • @gavocrazy i think its sweat since you can see it before he starts singing

  • @gavocrazy well it might just be sweat. but this was a very sad time for Elvis because his wife just left him and many of the songs from this time reflect his feelings such as this one, always on my mind, i miss you, and many more.

  • Thank You For This Video---

  • RIP Elvis...34 years.

    Still amazing.

    x

  • He could make any song his own!

  • THE KING IS ALIVE.... i don't care he is still here with us... spiritualy in our hearts forever and ever

  • @cfc434 Elvis isn't dead son. He just went home.

  • Big props E. Great cover of the great Hank Williams song.

  • God...I sure miss Elvis. Although I was never around while he was, I still feel like he is alive. He was my first inspiration, singing his songs in the back seat when I was barely old enough to talk whenever he'd be on our radio..Elvis birthed me into music as a small child, and he will forever be one of my greatest inspirations. Keep rocking and rolling in Heaven King, we all love you dearly..

  • we love the king of kings

    thank God for Elvis Presley

we love the greatest entertainer the world

  • I watched Dino sing this song on Youtube and all the comments were saying how

he did the best job ever on this song. I love Dean Martin too, but I invited all those

letter writers to come over here and watch elvis and then decide who did the best

job. The King gets my vote!

  • @johnmorris008 Well I like both versions and I generally prefer Elvis to Dean Martin. However on this song Deano gets my vote for the pure emotion in the vocal.

  • I remember my dad,,,,,He sing this always when I was a kid.......he is a fanatic of Elvis...

  • Aww. He's crying :( Bless him. Great Job Elvis. Fantastic!!! xxxxxx

  • cool elvis

    it is less than God

but 1000 times bigger than anything else

king of music king of kings

    elvis we love you 4ever

  • OMG! Still one of the best voices of all time. Just because he sings with all of his emotion.

  • Wow; i did not know that the King covered this song too; dosen't matter... if you really like this song ,check the version from VOLBEAT out. It's a really great version of this alltime-favorite !!!!! Hail to the king, and long live Rock' Roll

  • Damn, he puts so much emotion in this song... And he's right: this is definitely one of the saddest songs ever... I love it, anyways

  • adoro!

  • poor guy hes crying

  • caraa muito linda essa musica amuh amuh amuh ♥

  • gorgeous

  • I'm so lonesome for our King of Rock n Roll ... I could cry!!!!

  • He was the greatest musician ever! I miss him

  • OMG! TO AWESOME!!!

  • elvis was and still is the king no matter what i love this song

  • Elvis had more talent than all 4 Beatles, combined.

  • @dyne313...No question Elvis was talented. However, it was his voice and not his writing ability that was his talent. The Beatles were talented musicians as well as incredible songwriters. No one likes Elvis more than I but the fact of the matter is the Beatles not only sang their own music, but will go down in history as some of the best songwriters in musical history.

  • @dyne313 Well I wouldn't say THAT. What did Elvis ever write? But they were ALL great--each in their own way.

  • @dyne313 Amen, my friend.

  • @dyne313 he had talent, but that is just silly, two totally different types of music, and lennon and mcartney wrote all their classics.

  • Me too.

  • I grew up on Elvis and I am glad for it, it gave me a better appreciation for music

  • elvis will never die

  • Volbeat's version is better, but I like to listen to this very very emotional song of Elvis!

  • @UnionJackMusic Sorry, Hank still sings it better than the both of them...

  • What can anyone say?

There was only ONE KING of The Rock n Roll

    Long Live Elvis Presley

  • HAIL TO THE KING BITCH!

  • le magnifique ,ELVIS,voix inimitable et inoubliable.

  • he's the king... and always will be!

  • Yes I think he was crying here looks like it if you play it back love you Elvis

  • @ElvisFanFrom1965 That goes to show the power of Hank Williams Sr. His music made Elvis cry!

  • No sweat but a tear from 0:40

  • Olhando bem, parece que Elvis está chorando mesmo..Muito triste.

  • Such a Beautiful song...Elvis put so much of Himself into his Music!.. His Expression!...His Love! But most of all his feelings!!..Which came from his Heart!!! May he never be forgotten..Hugs Jessie xxx
