I stay away from unnecessary butchering of animals to stay on the safe side, plus i think they prefer being snake like, or sheep like, or whatever it was before it was dinner like. Am in consensus (but still not certain) that significant suffering as we know it is in the brain, and so this looks much more humane than some peoples crazy up the anti torture methods of preparing snakes.
