I thimk the best songs on the album are Alive and What about Love? which aren't written by Steinman. I do agree that Seize the Night is superb.

I honestly think the 3rd Bat Out of Hell album is the best in my opinion. It has great vocals, great instrumentals, an epic sound, and it really keeps me listening over and over. I didn't know this wasn't a Steinman-made album, but I still love it as much as the previous albums.

What I'd heard was slightly different- that Seize the Night was intended for a Batman soundtrack, but not the musical itself. The musical came after Tanz.
