  • Monday, March 15, 2010. Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve and Elder Steven E. Snow of the Presidency of the Seventy attended LDS Family Night at the Houston Rockets game on March 13, 2010.

  • Very interesting! Thanks for sharing!

  • תארו לעצמכם עברית ומערבבים מצרים בשפות, בשילוב אני בטוח עם ניב כמה מעיין היום.

  • Linking the BOM English back to the Hebrew and Egyptian, interesting but very risky.

  • Hey this was excellent! Eventhough I might not agree with everything I have been learning the 23 psalm in Hebrew and doing the word study. I have listed it below. Sorry I did not have time to elaborate on the two words. It might be an opportunity for a video. P.S. also the word tsalmâveth translated below as "shadow of death" bugs me I believe it should be death shadow.

  • גם כי־אלך בגיא צלמות לא־אירא רע כי־אתה עמדי שׁבטך ומשׁענתך המה ינחמני׃

Psa 23:4 When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me

Here it seems that both shêbeṭ

    and mish‛eneth

    .

  • Also -- when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff -- they comfort me.

  • Nice catch you guys! @ Hermetiqa, and Religion Think

  • @Hermetiqa :

"when I walk in a valley of death-shade"

"And the mists of darkness are the temptations of the devil, which blindeth the eyes, and hardeneth the hearts of the children of men, and leadeth them away into broad roads, that they perish and are lost." 1 Nephi 12:17

  • @Hermetiqa Job 3:5 " Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it."

    Young's Literal Translation

"5Let darkness and death-shade redeem it, Let a cloud tabernacle upon it, Let them terrify it as the most bitter of days."

  • Interesting also that the center glyph (God) of the Aztec Sacred Round is speaking (tongue in mouth) and that tongue is the glyph for "flint knife".

  • Thanks for the video, Kerry.

Even though I disagree with your religious views (I'm atheist) I always am impressed with your desire to study and dissect literature so that you can answer the questions that you have about the nature of reality and on theology to your satisfaction.

Always interesting, to say the least.

  • My pleasure.... I appreciate your comments.
