Well some people hate when they see game that is so unrealistic(in some point) I really like presentation of NBA Live ,because it really looks like Basketball game,but it also has bad player movement system(players move like robots)unlike in NBA 2K,and game is too much speed-up(again unlike in NBA 2K).NBA Live is an ok game,but it gets boring for some time.I love FIBA teams in Live anyway

Live 08 is $10 cheaper than 2K8, and the Demo is a waste of time. if you want Live, then buy Live. but all i got to say is, buy what you want, Live is an arcade-style NBA game, because the CPU is easy to beat, LeBron's Unstoppable, But then again, the Achievements are a little harder to get on the 360, i'm working on those right now (1000G on 2K8), but for Online play, get 2K8, they're both pretty much even except the competition. (2K8 wins with better A.I.), but 2K8 ownz with their Online play.

the passing. Live throws girly little passes in the lane, when 2K8 fires passes much quicker. and in Live all you need is the Right Joystick. press it up for a spin move at the free-throw line, the D gets faked and the help defense just gets dunked on. I said it before, Live is just grade-school ball, 2K8 masters the defensive as well as the offensive sets. you can lock good teams down if you know the right defense to play at a certain time, and all on the Fly, in Live you have to call aTimeout.
