his g-tube actually doesn't bother him at all. He's had it for so long that he doesn't really know life without it! He's learned how to adapt his activity and play around it, for example learned to slide off couches and down stairs on his bottom or back instead of the traditional tummy method of most learning toddlers. Thanks for his hugs & kisses, our boy can never have too many :-)
It was done laprascopically, and unfortunately much later during an upper endoscopy we found out the fundo was an unsuccessful surgery. He is doing well though now, and still has his g-tube at 2 1/2. Good luck to you with your surgery, and God bless you! Thanks for watching!
Ahh poor thing.
I had a different surgery done laproscopically last august - i have formed adhesions and hopefully getting them removed soon - fingers crossed.
I also might be getting a feeding tube.
Does his g-tube bother him ?
give him hugs + kisses from me - hes a very brave boy.
love vicky xx
