@quinoacat, cool... I overreacted myself. I'm kinda getting sick of the 'fake' attitude on the internet and without knowing the backstory, both of your reactions seemed excessive. Having slept over it, I realise that my comments were exactly as agressive as what I thought to criticize. Peace.

I'll have to reserve judgement until you get your technical issues resolved. So will Adam Gussow and crew, I'd bet. You show some skill in your 42 second video that has ZERO "synch probs" detected. Could you upload a clip, slapping out a riff or playing something on your guitar next? If you keep showing promise I could end up helping promote you.

@quinoacat,... is this a joke? With your sherlock holmes observation skills you should have noticed that the Sp20 had it's covers opened up... This harp also sounds as if it's some kind of custom job.

Stop hating and this poisonous suspicion. Coercing a MBH fellow to put a vid named "this is not a fake"... ?? you should be ashamed of yourself.

That was f-in awesome. Very good technique. A lot of feeling... OBVIOUSLY not a fake.

BTW....the first video, cmon man, that was more than just "Synch" issues. It looked more like BAD MIME.

Why not just re-do the video if you were having "synch" issues? You managed a non-accompanied demo of 42 seconds of playing that demonstrated you have skills playing as proof you played this. If you could manage that it should not be tough to do a video of you playing to this backing track that does not appear so suspicious. I should think you would want your contest entry to appear above reproach. Just re-do it and we will be convinced.

@quinoacat the audio goes out of sync when I upload it to youtube. The video is ok when I look at it in my computer. So there no reason to re-do it.

The first video was the same as this one just more out of sync. Because of Youtube. I've heard others having the same problem when uploading here.

this isn't fake! There is still some sync problems with the video and the audio. I recorded it through Photobooth on my mac and I think it mirrors the video. And where would I get the audio from that. It isn't that good. I'll post a video of me soon just playing solo to show that's me playing

@gaukur you show the harmonica to the camera, it is not upside down, and its NOT mirrored! but you blow low notes out of the wrong side of harp... explaine it

something isnt right about the way he plays....i will show this video to a few guys who play harmonica...and why do you play low notes out of the right side of the harmonica allthough you showed it to the camera and we can tell that you dont hold it upside down? is that really you playing........i dont think so.i wont be rude, but it looks a little bit strange to me...

i cant help it, that looks fake to me, you hold the harp correct, but you blow low tones out of the part, where high notes should come out...and sometimes theres a tone, but the harp allready is away frm your mouth..and if i look at your throat, while you play, i doesent look like it should....my opinion..sorry

@DannyGrease this video is mirrored as well. Try holding a Special 20 in front of a mirror and you'll see the same as in the video.

@GermanHarpist i never gave a negative comment on a harmonica video before, the only reason why we had our thoughts, was that the first version of this video looked very suspicios to us, im well aware that this guy plays better than myself, and thats cool, im singer in first place, not a harmonica player, so, no need for me to be jealous here, the only reason for my comments was,...if this was a fake(yeah we know its not fake), it would not be fair for the other contenders of this competition.!!

Yeah, very nice. I wanna learn a bit of blues harp now. What sort have you got? I'm buying one next pay lol (no jokes). I take it you've been playing for some time now. I play some blues guitar and know all the minor pentatonic positions, do you think it'll take very long to learn?

@Pvt213 Thanks! I use Hohner Special 20. They are good to start out with.

If you work hard it doesn't take very long to learn the basic techniques and it sure helps to have played another instrument. I started on guitar as well. Started playing harp about 3 1/2 years ago.
