i am a trained storm spotter here in central arkansas and to this very day i will never forget that night and i was in saline county ar when this happend and i reported the tornado hitting the dealership while the tornado was chasing me and i know more about this outbreak all too well and i am still researching the outbreak

@frofro73 I lived in Fort Smith off of Clayton Expressway at the time. I kept stepping outside to see the storm and kept thinking they should sound the sirens but by the time I realized what was happening I wasn't going to wait on some siren to tell me to take cover.

That night my kids slept in the tub. When it hit us in Gravel Ridge it was twin tornado's.

my house was in the middle and didn't get hit. The next road down did, 500ft away the other tornado that was on the other side of my house was 1/2 mile away.

Living here because of military, This place scares me.

Yeah, I live in Jacksonville and when this happened, I got some damage done to my apt. The wind was so strong it broke out a window. I was so scared. I had a newborn and I was alone. My husband felt the need to work that night. This place scares me too!

This might not be the official red zone of tornado alley but 2008 should have thought you just about ANY state in the central plains of the US is part of that infamous alley. 2008 was a rough year for people in the alley.

I know, that tornado that went through Benton and Bryant Arkansas in April hit my house and I've been freaked ever since and my friend at skool laughs at me for being freaked all da time and her house didn't get hit!!!

I survived an F3 tornado that hit Marmaduke,Arkansas on April 2nd. 2006....nearly destroyed our whole town...i guess i'm a little sensitive to asinine comments ...lol!!
