  • How did you make that homemade pasta Steve? It looked really tasty.

  • hallo carpcatcher

i,m tyg from holland and i love your videos specialy the cookinglessons haha

i watch all your videos with lots off joy and i am also mad about carpfishing

if you like it we can fish together sometime then you can come over to holland for a week to catch some duch carp with me.

    greets tyg

  • @TheMrtyg cheers fella

  • Cant get my head around out turned eyed hook with the amnesia. It seems to go against all I understand. With an inturned eye and combi rig the hook turns and snags bottom lip hard to eject. I use outturned eye for D rigs,do the rigs u kindly show with deceptor and black amnesia turn and enter the bottom lip? Ive been sucking boilies in the sink to try and understand the dynamics lol. or is it just meant for popup/critically balanced baits and ive missed the piont. please let me know. cheers.

  • @jellyfountain have a look at the rigs article on my website fella

  • @jellyfountain the reason i use the out turned eye is to stop the nylon line going through the eye at an angle that would damage the line. I use an in-turned eye on the combies (thats the Fox Arma long shank)

The turn you mentioned into the bottom lip is not really as effective as its claimed to be because the carp suck and blow it in and out so it never gets to turn. The stiff line is difficult to suck and blow so once picked up the carp more often than not

  • wouldn't use waders on your own (stuck in the mud)

  • hi steve, have watched nearly all your vids and have taken a lot of good advise from them, the main advice is to get a smart cast!! was just wondering how far you can cast the sensor?? as im fishing a 12-14 acre lake next year and need to be getting 60-100 yards. love the vids proper fishing, nice 1.

  • @mikeyjob1983 you can get a range of upto 50 yards or so if you raise the receiver on a 6 foot plus bankstick

you can also get modifications done to increase to 250 yards but you will have to look on forums ect for the answer as to where as i dont know

  • i havent carp fished for twenty years your vids ave really inspired me might get me rods out again just got to find some nice quiet places to go like to fish against carp not other anglers top vids mate nice one

  • @daiwa117 agree mate try and find some peace and quite eh. Cheers

  • I was subscribed to this channel but lost (got hacked) my account. and forgot about this ....

really refreshing and i think most carp anglers have peak here when they can't go out fishing...you really bring out the essence of carping so to speak ;)

  • @thecarpdude thx mate

  • 19:15 hahaha, love it. enough for two, or..... just one! Great Vid mate ;)

  • @TrancetasticWilza cheers mate

  • What model of Smartcast do you use Steve ? All the ones ive seen have only got a range of 100ft, and you are using it at 50/ 60yds

  • @MrPopup2 I use the RF 15 but the clue to more distance is calm water and getting the receiver 6 feet above ground.

The higher the receiver the better the reception and distance so i pop my onto the top of a 6 foot bankstick..

  • Great vid as usual

  • @Bradythecarpman15 ta mate

  • @Mycarpworld Cheers mate

  • Korda tail rubbers do work in fact if you ask me they're almost too lose lol. I once almost killed a guy with a lead that flew of on the cast!

  • @l1vefordaweekend the tail rubbers are all pretty much the same but the clips are not korda lead clip hold onto the lead too much so sometimes they work but more often they dont.

    Nash work every time.

  • yesss!!!!!!!
