The Packers had already planned to have Rodgers as starting QB after Favre's first official retire, but with the possibility of his returning that coming year, Rodgers future with the Packers was left in limbo. Things were just getting really crazy with the decision making and it left Rodgers stuck none other than right in the middle of it all.

Then Brett decided he wanted to come out of retirement which meant Aaron couldn't play. So basically Aaron worked his butt of in training camp while Brett just came in and tried to declare his job back. But the Packers instead traded him to the Jets to give Aaron a chance. It was a bitter process in which Favre was a huge jerk to Aaron. Justin was making light of the situation.
