  • Nice

  • ummm awesome poster word up!

  • "Blinded By Light" (battle theme song) is very nice. Maybe you can try that song too. I've never played piano so I don't know if it's hard to do. Your videos are great. By the way, which Final Fantasy games have you played so far? I've played FF7, FF8 and now I'm playing FF13. I really like Final Fantasy: Story, characters, music etc.

  • @pmmers I would aggree with you on that, however I notice my brother after been playing a little bit of FF13 on and off, he lost interest half way (the quest time) on the game and not bothered by not seeing the rest of the wonderful story. I realize those who don't continue to play and keep up with the story will lost interest in playin em. (Perhaps it is also because I kept push him to play everyday~ making the game like it is his summer homework.)

  • @kenenth84 He apparently didn't really like the game. Yes, it's better to play it on a regular base. Otherwise you'll forget about the storyline and maybe how the battle system works, thus don't really feel like trying to remember what happened and learning the basics again.

  • some of the bass notes are wrong in your chords but other than that well played

  • not that bad, your modest attitude is lot better than those haughty wannabe who act like they're famous stars!

BTW you know anywhere i can look for string score of these amazing music?

  • The title is "Final Fantasy XIII - The Promise" :)

  • @NoSTricKy hehe, NOW that the game is out and all... :-)

I play this way before it's release, and never had that many people check it out. I notice I played it sloppy; never consider the quality of the music. BUT! I can replay this someday with the proper sheet music goes with it. ^^

    thx for the correction :)

  • terrible

  • hehe, I know I didn't put enough effort on making this video. I learn this when the game havn't come out yet. BUT NOW after I played and enjoy the game. I start to understand this tune a lot better :-)

sorry if you don't like my arrangement of this song by ear :p I'll continue to improve :D

  • @haryjoto2

    Fuck off you cunt...

    This is great...

  • Can u post a piano tutorial? Like the ones which show you which keys to press...kinda like this one?

Piano Tutorial: Howl's Moving Castle - Merry-Go-Round of Life PLEASSEEEE PLEASEE? I cant read music :(

  • Ive never played the piano before but i wanna learn how to play this...can u upload a version which tells u which keys to press (like guitar hero style) coz i dont know how to read music :(

  • Ah so glad someone did this music, it's so calming.

  • Aghh this is SOOO pretty!! SHEETS PLZ? :O

  • bravo!!!

  • Good job!

  • this game will be a must buy especially afte hearing you play music from it. I know it will be so cool!!

  • 狂赞~

  • That was awesome! I've never heard this.. the ending reminds me of Silence and Motion.

  • I'm pretty sure Nobuo composed this piece. FF13 is all by him.

  • From my search... majority of the song will be composed by Masashi Hamauzu, however the "theme song" will be composed by Nobuo Uematsu... The problem is I can't find WHICH song is the theme song. is it the Battle theme song after the piano, or this is it... :3 please help clearify, anyone that knows!

  • Not true. Uematsu-san is only writing the main theme like he did for XII.

Hamauzu is writing the majority of the music

  • Your post Reeks of Ignorance.

Therefore rendering your opinion to me irrelevant.

  • Sure, you keep thinking that. You can say it was awesome, but everyone in the world knows deep down in their hearts that the soundtrack sucked.

  • So if you really think They Re-used songs and just used brittany spears pop music. You have literally have no ear for music, no appreciation for music and no understanding of it.

Not a "SINGLE" song From X was used in X-2.

Go Listen to Eternity- Memory of Light waves

    and Besaid for example.

You don't have any basis for you opinion that it's bad other than" It's Sucks" Or " It's brittany spears pop" and "It Reuses FFX music"

None of which is Actually true at all.

  • Okay, im done arguing. I've always lived by the basis "Arguing over the internet is completely pointless"

And they BASED songs from X-2 off of X. Im just saying, it was nowhere near the perfection that Uematsu would've provided had he stayed in Square.

I enjoy the soundtrack, but it doesn't capture me like 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 did. This is also the reason im not a big fan of 12's soundtrack.

Keep arguing back if ya want, but this is my final post. I still believe my basis of not arguing.

  • You still haven't PROVED ANYTHING>

Prove That they Used Songs From X.

    Because they didn't.

No melody other than Possibly the chocobo theme appear in X-2 that Appeared in X.

And In X The chocobo song was Swing.

In X-2 The chocobo motif appears briefly for a small time in one song.

I've played x-2 for over 400 Hours and i've never heard a single song from X. Of which I have the Soundtrack to both.

SO once again. Prove that they used songs from X

  • And You do know also that X wasn't composed only by Nobuo Uematsu right?

X was scored by 3 people altogether.

Nobuo Only wrote about half the game's music.

The rest was written by Junya Nakano And Masashi Hamauzu(who Is composing XIII)

So Now you know the facts that your precious Pure Nobuo X soundtrack is tainted.

Don't believe me? Go on VGMdb and it has all the technical and musical credits from every VGM album ever released. And for X it has who wrote what song on each Disc.

  • WOW!!! This is stunningly beautiful.

Sorry Nobuo, guess your not essential for FF To have an amazing soundtrack. Though none will ever beat him!

  • you are just now learning this?

There have been many composers who've worked on Final Fantasy games who aren't Nobuo-san who've made beautiful music.

X-2 had an amazingly diverse soundtrack that was both memorable and catchy.

  • Wow, is this one of your first videos of a song you learned by ear? Congrats on the amazing arrangement! Always a pleasure to see a video from you in my subscription box ;)
