  • 10 B. Armstrong. This game is by Tecmo. Think he's related to Bass and Tina Armstrong? XD

  • The NES version is better for me.

  • Good game. This version for the NES was probably the best bball game on that system. Double Dribble would be a close #2

  • Psychologist: Alan S. Becker

  • If Tecmo had just did a straight port of this on XBLA and PSN it would have been awesome. Instead they made a sim/NBA Jam hybrid and it sucked horribly.

Still waiting for Tecmo to do a straight port of this for XBLA/PSN like they did with Tecmo Bowl Throwback.

  • You know, oddly enough Tecmo had hellafied street cred with its sports games in the 90's. . .Almost more so than EA. . .

  • 1:40 is an error.. no such things as "Periods" in Basketball.. (Maybe in the WNBA though lol..)

  • wasnt bad, but you could score on every single play if you wanted to.

  • doesnt anyone notice when the players take free throw's their jumping still a good game

  • NBA Jam, Tecmo Super NBA Basketball, Ms. Pac-Man, NBA Action '94 and Dick Vitale's "Awesome, Hoops!" College Baby.

  • Im so sad looking at this damn i m bout to go buy this shit fuck my ps3 naw but i miss this game yo

  • Absolutely loved this game!!! Hated when my players would tear their ACL at the beginning of a season though. I use to own with the Magic though...Nick, Penny and Shaq would tag drop like 90 a night. Shaq would have like 9 blocks a game too lol.

And yes human sounding computer voice....

    It IS Good!!!!

  • my boy was SICK with the Sonics, they had like 3 or 4 guys that could rain 3's all Day. I use to curse at Dana Barros everytime I played him...

  • Classic, the Tecmo Super NBA Basketball from Sega Genesis music has the same as SNES version!

  • Classic footage. Me and my Brothers used to addicted to this game. Our GPAs dropped considerably after we got this game for Christmas. Haha!!

  • love the rebounding sound! man this brings back memories...played it all the time

  • Brings back memories. I remember they would never mention MJ's name.

  • memory lane here.

  • lol shawn kemp a.k.a. 13 kids by 11 baby mommas...but back in the day he was one of the best pfs in the league....then he went to cleveland.....

  • Believe or not but Shawn Kemp was a beast on this game!

  • i used to play tha shit outta this game....

  • SNES was cool... i used to drop like 60 every time using Jordan

  • i used to play this game when i was younger and i remember JORDAn was here, on SNES.

  • @morgandroitcaen don't think jordan was on these games it was guard bulls no.99

  • I always felt like this game didn't ever go anywhere - but I did love how it says "block" when you block a shot. Too many charges called unless you just shoot jumpers every time. I do think Zeke tried to offer BJ a deal at halftime for 5 years, $90 mil during this game, anticipating his time as a great GM.

  • dont forget jordan is also on nba showndown for snes and this was after jordan left so it was supposed to be pete myers with jordan's stats left over like forward celtics is supposed to be the late reggie lewis but he died before th3 93 season started

  • Snes version is better.

  • So does the NES Version, The NES Version sucks compared to the Genesis/SNES Versions

  • On the SNES version, which I have and still play to this day, Jordan's name appears in the game. Supposedly the only basketball game that has Jordan's name.

  • Not really. Jordan didn't opt out of his NBAPA contract until 1992. He's in every one of EA's games from Jordan vs. Bird through Bulls vs. Blazers.

  • jordan was also in lakers vs pistons and bulls vs lakers, also nba live 2000-20003

  • Yeah, I have this game too for SNES. Jordan is on there, I don't know why he's not on this one. Actually Reggie Lewis is on mine too. Not sure Gerald Glass is on Detroit either, he's on the Timberwolves on mine.

  • the reason he isnt on there because when the snes version was release in 1993, he didnt announce his first retirement yet . on the genesis version that came out in 1994 he was out of the league and was playing baseball. that why he isnt in the genesis version.

  • i loved this game

  • Is "G. Bulls" supposed to be Jordan?
