Brilliant and well presented,Could'nt ask more than to volunter to test eat a neighbours vegies as you should Lol.Thanks to the owners for sharing there vegie garden haven, and I love the background chat and comments on preserving summer excess for winter Again thankyou
I never post comments...never have. I just wanted to let you know that we love your vids, informative and sooo fun. Thanks for all the great info. Can't wait to try this technique.
This is exactly what I need to do.. being the only gardener here, I did not plant this year because of all the work it takes to keep up with the weeds.. when hot summer approaches I get lazy , and the weeds take off.. so this is a great tip I have seen this fabric and believe a landscaper sells it here.. Happy Gardening!
Thx Eric Hiya Smitty Nice to meet you I have a roll of that fabric & plan to sew grow bags for next summer.Fab looking produce at the neighbours. Great tip on torching the holes. I removed carpet & underpad from 2 rms in my house..have laid it out on the bottom hill of my yard.will leave it there til spring to kill off all of the vegetation.mostly weeds then plant perenials & mulch it.super hilly north facing pain
i have used this product for the past 5 years with great sucess. only thing is weeds do grow thru where i have posts to put up a fence to keep my dogs out. so i have to use some prevention there. But it is worth the $ invested in buying this cloth. good tips on this video. I staked mine down with small metal tent stakes and large washers. never thought of rolling it up and amending the soil underneath. now i grow in grow boxes instead of teh clay we have here. thanks .
I have been wanting to use that on my mother's garden and have also told my best friend about it. Now, if I can just get them to use it or have me put it in. I think it would be great for all the weed problems that they have.
Those veggies look great! Thank you neighbors! Nice melon too!

Weed-free?!? ...most 'weeds' are just plants that grow freely moreover they are, in fact, free food
...a great way to be 'weed' free is to eat them especially when they are young and tender ...before they produce seeds
...chickweed, lambs-quarters, clover for example are highly nutritous anti-oxidants
fun video ...thanks for sharing

I used this same fabric this year, and it was awesome in my 50X75 ft garden. I have winter rye growing right now for a green manure crop too.

Great idea, but would you use that in a raised bed? Love the veggie eating labs...I have two of those critters too!
