They are both very similar as in they both go for absolute speed over everything else and yes they are fast but they are both VERY scrappy and tasteless. I would give it to Kirk as he is a better songwriter and he has wrote some very cool guitar parts, not so much solos though. But overall he rules over Herman

funny, the official through the ashes and coal vid makes it look like li's playing at a phenomenal rate but in live shows, it looks pretty speedy but it doesn't look impossible. But I'm not sure who's better, but kirk's more melodic, I think, which counts more than speed.
