its a scam... they remapped the signal strength and the bars it shows... although it might have done something to fix the dropped calls, bars are not really an accurate way to show how is your reception. in the phone dial: *3001#12345#* and youll enter field test mode, between all of the things you can do here, your bars would change to a negative number, the closer that number is to zero, the better your reception would be

yyeah i think so too because when i walked out of school today i usally have like 0-1 bars mostly no service and when i walked out i had 4-5 bars.. i dont know what they did but it worked i guess.... but it could be messed up.. i am not sure... what do you think?

yeah they gave you more bars with the same crappy signal so that you dont complain, maybe it works, maybe the had it set up so that it only showed bars with a singal strong enough to call.... i dont know...

i have noticed that in 2.1 that when u tap a third party app its stays pressed for about a second then launches. it isnt a really big deal but it really annoys me

I think the iPod touch 2.1 firmware got the short end of the stick.  I don't have an iPhone but I do have an iPod Touch and I have upgraded to 2.1 and my apps are still crashing. Other than that - its fine but my apps are crashing...Is anyone else experiencing the same thing or is it just me?
