Beautiful, especially Frittoli sounds marvelously. I love her voice. If she sang to me like that I'd marry her at once.

Is it my imagination here or is she heavier here than she currently is in 2009? I ask because she sounds lovely here but I sang chorus in the Verdi Requiem and she looked much thinner and didn't have much support behind the voice...

I love this DVD. Frittoli was dead-on as Liu, and Larin sounds like he could have done Wagner. Now we'll never know.

Condivido il tuo giudizio! :-) Io l'ho vista a Cagliari nel ruolo di Desdemona ed è stata probabilmente la performance più emozionante a cui abbia mai assistito (il pubblico era talmente toccato da applaudire fino alla concessione del bis, un unicum a Cagliari almeno negli ultmi cinque anni!)
