I love Brandy in this role. She is such a great Cinderella. The voice of reason against the stepmother's plotting and shenanigans, and yet she's such a dreamer and a romantic. :) So much better than Disney's Cinderella!

I think the makers of this movie wanted to bring a bit of multi-cultural element to this movie....I think it's great so that young kids are aware of the different races out there.
