I've been to Download 3 times and had a great time...

Then I went to Hellfest in France. It beat the shit out of Download, but there's one thing that's missing: Good ol' Friendly Bottle Fights.

Guess it had a lot to do with the scattered numbers of cops standing on hills with a tazer, a gun, and a large Alsation each. But other than that, security over there was SO relaxed - everyone behaved themselves (not a single fight etc.) and they let you into the stages with as much booze as you want!

Yeh maybe its just me and my age i used to go to a lot of festivals back in the day though and i can see how easily a full scale riot can kick off ( leeds festival 2002 i think). I tend just to go to glastonbury festival now as its a lot more relaxed and you dont get gangs of useless emos there. Anyway point taken see ya.
