My father has this motor and yes, the pistons and rods were both upgraded to handle more power.. around 800hp in total, race pistons etc. Yeah, that sounds wicked man! :)

thats a Coil-On-Plug system on the valve cover right? Where'd you get it? Cuz the 2JZ-GE that comes in the sc300 is distributor ignition and i've been looking into going COP but haven't found a lot options.

ya but with that big a turbo the spool is still something else even with the ehaust on, never the less you'll atract to much bad attention (cops) running an open downpipe, my 180 sounds like a tractor without the downpipe etc on.

thats a big turbo you run something at low boost say 7psi thats map'd for say 18 no wonder, the turbo wont make any power until it hits its peak
