they seem to think that the spirals are already there once the initial numbers are set into the computer all thats happening is the computer generates the patterns over and over cause of the mathmatics involved.. theyr not magnifying the image their looking at the comp. generated images each time it runs out of the original it simply produces another set of imagry each time u tell it to "magnify" once agian it doesnt create the image as a whole its a continually run program that has no end

I am afraid that is not totally correct. They are in fact zooming in on a mathematically well defined shape to see what it looks like.
