I agree that they are the best band I have ever heard and I have heard all the prog bands by now...from every country. they are the best one that I found yet.
Free energy has been here all along ,But the powerfull Oil business won't alow common ppl to know this,if you want a real Free energy Magnet Motor, get the blueprints at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!
Where did this come from? I've been a fan for too long to remember, their music is timeless in the sense that classical music is. Orchestral in it's arrangements and operatic with Peter's delivery.
But without Jackson, it doesn't work for me, as some of the videos testify.
This coincided with my teenage years - pushing the envelope, experimenting with mind-expanding drugs, being a bit different , holding onto something you could jusify as a bit intellectual, losing my virginity....and still finding that the music is valid all these years later. Just don't listen to the "redux" crap since the early 1980s....the magic is in the original and not in the pale reproduction that is out of time.
I just noticed that Iron Maiden took the title of this song and used it in their song Brighter Than a Thousand Suns off their A Matter of Life and Death album! cool huh? It wasn't a surprise to me being that I already knew that this band is one of Steve Harris' many favorites....but lol it's just cool to know that thats where they got that lyric from. UP THE IRONS! and Van Der Graaf rules!
Oh ja, eine meiner Lieblingsgruppen! House with no door undund.
When I was at school Pawn Hearts was THE album to be seen carrying around in the sixth form. I was a bit young to take it in properly but having rediscovered them recently, they are thrilling in a way much prog wasn't. A delight thanks for posting.
always a toss up if I had to pick between Pawn Hearts and H to He, so I consider them both as one big extended favorite album. It's like trying to pick your favorite child... unfair.
This film has been suppressed for years so it is really good to finally see it in full. For me the real classic line up was the five memeber band including Nic. Nic is very sweetman who replys to e-mails in a way that few rock musicians can be bothered with...

Robert would say more guitar and discordance.
Not that this is a bad song, I rather enjoy it.

Very rare for featuring a guitar. ...and PH with long hair. He cut it off before it became the thing to do....

Piece of ART. Hammill doesn't need more fame. A real genius doesn't think in that terms.
