  • I like the fact that she's muscular and powerful; she doesn't look anorexic like so many ballerinas these days. She reminds me of Maya Plisetskaya (her face too).

  • Wow! a lot of power in her dancing, nice!

  • soooooo perfect! *-*

  • The orchestra clearly wanted to go faster but immediately had to slow down after that that first pose.

  • I've never seen attitude turns done that perfectly and well supported

  • Slow motion - what a pity, the whole spanish liveliness gets lost!

  • she makes it look like walking en pointe is the thing to do. and now I think I can do that.

  • what an awfully anesthetic bundle of muscle! Forget about artistry. If you guys think this is art, then I rather watch UK soccer, sorry.

  • @MrRight1000 The video doesn't do her justice physically. She has an amazing body thanks to her muscle definition and also this video is nearly 10 years old. Go watch her in London with Royal Ballet and you will see something totally different.

  • Ummmmm fouettes r spot on brilliant. Textbook perfect

  • from what i read, she auditioned for the royal ballet with this piece in front of dowell, without any music. jesus. and the rest is history. she's my favorite.

  • I love how her leg turns really hight during the fouettés. It´s not easy to see a ballerina perform such beautifull fouetés.

  • 'Oops, missed a double fouette, better make up for it with a triple...'

  • Whats the music called??

  • holy balls. Marianela Nuñez=perfection.

  • I love Marianela! You can definitely tell that she's Argentinian, she does Spanish/Hispanic roles SOOO well! And the best part about her is that her brother is MY teacher!

  • I'm looking for some high quality balance like hers, preferably for less than a hundred dollars. Does anyone know of a store that would have it? ;)

  • Where is the pdd?

  • @dudalovetendo I have uploaded the pas de deux as well as the coda. You can find them by visiting my channel.

  • not very graceful, kinda stunty.

  • she is good but sorry i think Jurgita Dronina does it better

  • Marianela was MADE for Kitri. :D

  • @KLOKLOKLO456 unfortunately, Don Q is not in the repertory of Royal Ballet anymore. would really love to bring the nureyev version back.

  • I adore how the audience claps during the fouettes !!!

  • arrasouuu 0.0 q balance :-o

  • Marianela OWNS turns in attitude derriere.

  • @MsBalletomane That and everything else!

  • She is amazing but I prefer russians and wow she has lost so much weight since this video !!!!

  • How tall is she??? i just love her :)

  • perfeita...Thiago se deu bem! rsrrs

  • Marianela nunez is beautiful so neat! =D

  • Haha, I just find it amusing how the orchestra tried to play the music at a faster pace but had to immediately slow down the moment she made her second arabesque. :P

  • I really don't like this variation, but she makes me watch it over and over again!

  • @abustinaa True that! I didn't like it either. Now I'm in love :)

  • i cant wait to see the pas de deux i love marianela nunez

  • @BalletGirl09 Sorry it's taking long to upload the pas de deux. The uploader is giving me trouble. I hope I will be successful soon.

  • I love her so much ....

i think she's WONDERFUL.....the STRONGEST ballerina technically today.

she is fine, elegant and refined in every movement, gesture and expression.

  • AMAZING. thankyou sooo much for putting this up!! Can't wait for pas de deux!!!

  • ı love her ....

  • thanks so much have you got the pas de deux or didnt she do it :)

  • @BalletGirl09 It's a pleasure. Yes, I've got the pas de deux. Will upload it soon.

  • The Royal Ballet needs to put Don Quixote back in their repretoire. They have a great Kitri, Tamara Rojo, and I would love to see Marianela Nunez in the entire ballet. She is fantastic!

  • @9415908 I totally agree. they have great dancers for it. I don't know why it left in the first place.

  • What was this from? Also, do you know when this was done?

  • @madisonave64 It was from the Bolshoi/Royal Ballet Gala 2003.
