I have to say this. I know quite some recordings of the piano concerto in B flat but this is the one performance I would always choose as my reference. it is just overwhelmingly vivid, brilliant and sublime Oh how I admire this woman In many ways the greatest pianist of our time Martha Argerich.

This conductor was trying to divert attention to himself, sometimes conducting with one finger, sometimes with his entire backside. But the lady was doing enough dancing at the piano, they did not need him, the players could have worked off Martha's moves. Pretty much a riot, some of them were on something, makes you wander what, maybe it was a controlled substance equivalent of Beethoven.

so so so so amazing. i love argerich so much, the tone she creates from the piano, is amazing. no-one else can replicate it. so much accuracy and ease of playing. she properly is 'playing' (with) the piano. and i love at the end how the conductor gives a thumbs up haha.
