I have a question about playing with the drum pedal.

See, I hit the pedal with my left foot (my right foot isn't nearly as fast as the left one.) I am a lefty, but I play RB as a right handed person would.

Am I forming a bad habit by playing with my left foot? Since I know the hi-hat pedal is played with the left foot...

Yep, mine are still perfect. I've read the stuff on SH too, so I dunno what to tell ya. Every electronic product is going to have some faulty ones out there :)

Listen to the music, it's pretty easy to hear when to hit a drum and when to hit a cymbal. Plus I've been playing drums a loooong time :)

It's much easier when you play real drums, it's the same thing. I play real drums, and when the free style fills come, I know how long they're going to be without hearing the song before. It's rhythm, time signatures, etc.
