W12 engine is quite different from the Deltic which used opposed pistons in each cylinder and three crankshafts, no cylinder heads. (The Deltic diesels are 18cyl, and 36 pistons!) The Napier W12 design is 3 banks of 4 cylinders, in an otherwise conventional manner, and it is a petrol/gasoline type engine with spark ignition.
It's powered by an airship or aircraft engine from about 1920s. The Deltic was the diesel engine fitted to the express railway locomotives from the 1960s.
super unique

One of the cylinders is smokier than the others. That might be a bad sign. Bad rings or head gasket?

Wait... Napier. As in the same Napier of deltic engine fame? Was that Bentley powered by a deltic? Looked similar to their big diesels, for sure...
