@VargKDM Oh, definintely. Falkenbach is an amazing band with truly genuine and passionate music. One of the best folk/viking metal *bands* to be sure. And they do have some great examples of folk/black metal done right on excellent songs like 'Læknishendr'. To me, though, with the exception of some of the early material, Falkenbach is more pure folk metal with a few black metal elements, while Windir had more profound black metal elements in their sound. I love both bands, though.

i think this was the first windir song i've ever heard, and before i'd even seen the album cover, this song conjured up the same image in my head. one of the most inspirational, emotional, and melodic songs i think i'll ever hear
