I am grateful that I had a couple of really good high school teachers, but from what I understand, they'd be laid off now for being too high up on the pay scale so that they could bring in cheaper new graduates. Now kids are graduating and are barely literate. Guess it's better that way, can't have them reading those deep books about idea's and such.

They do NOT teach the child are fine fine laws Canada has. They need to do what our grade 3 teacher did. She ame use read the Constituation of Canada (allthough it may not compare to the US constituation) it's fair, as long as you keep the public sector crooks held at bay. She made us learn court processs as well, and that you never ever back down on your right and freedoms. No matter what or some public sect crook may see that you have left a door open for him.
