I've been to that site before. The people who run it are complete idiots. They don't use logic when enforcing rules. For example, if there's a guy who just signed up, and a guy who's been in the site for a year, the guy who's been their longer can say just about ANYTHING and get away with it. Liquid fertilizer can be homemade too. Some green houses do composting just like you but fuge out the raw components in a liquid form. The main reason why green houses get the hearty growth is great ventilation and intense 24 hour light in the vegatative phase.

Most greenhouses use artificial chemical fertilizer for watering. I've visited dozens upon dozens of them and seen the process in action. I'm sure there are a few greenhouses that use organics, but those are no doubt very rare.
