It took me a full year or year & a half from the time I stumbled upon a YT video by a Free Stater someone posted in a zombie blog's offtopic forum, to come completely around to the ideas of classical liberalism. I made alot of bad assumptions during that yr. I was new; just learning about the constitution, natural law, John Locke, Bastiat, Jefferson, Rothbard, Ron Paul, etc.

@MrPloppy1 Same thing happened to me. My parents raised me as a neo-con, and without a few folks I happened to meet online, I would have stayed that way. A reasonable alternative was certainly not the Obama-style liberalism. In fact, a large part of it was the Glenn Beck program, and his books. Now, he still has some of that dissonance on the Constitution, I admit. But he introduced me to the Founding Fathers as important statesmen. And I went from there, and eventually I came to Ron Paul.

@wcprocom I agree glenn beck isn't anywhere close to as insane as everybody makes him out to be, he's very smart and usually right. However, he doesn't understand Ron Paul's views about Israel or Iran, and like everybody else, runs from Paul because of it.

He supports Rick Santorum as a second choice which is scary because Rick said in one debate he hopes the US was invovled in covert operations in Iran. Disappointing Glenn supports that.
