I guess you become accustomed to the behaviour of your companios after a while. And the AI can have its moments too.

You have a real good character, Bow and Arrows are a real pain hehe.

I prefer close combat so I can see there face of demise ...that sounded really creepy.

Yes, at a higher level as companion, they seem to do alot more than just get hit from your charater lol!
