  • The best president we need more presidents like him not stupid obama

  • epic

  • Reagan will always be a legend, even after his death. There will always be someone of greatness that people insist on bringing down due the simple concept that no one's ever going to be happy with WHO the president is or what magnificent things they have accomplished such as this moment right here that will never be forgotten.

  • A.E.I.O.U. I love you

  • "Mr Gorbichev. Tear down this wall!"

The words of a legend whose name shall never be forgotten

  • Reagan Smash!

  • Reagan sucks dickkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • Reagan was a kind man but he was a puppet and a weak president. Just read history books and do the research.

  • @Lintflas Yes cuz history books are the right place to learn about Reagan. Nearly every historic book is blatantly bias against Reagan and the only research you are taking is from liberal researchers. Are you really that ignorant?

  • @Willredd94

I'm even old enough to remember his time as president. He was responsible for excessive national debts, and it's those national debts which are killing you right now. And it wasn't his fair weather speech that teared down the Berlin wall.

Actually it's the other way round. Since his death american historians and biographers started to glorify him.

  • @Lintflas lol you even take a poke at his speech. "fair weather".

Yeah you're not biased. LMFAO!!! be more clever next time and sharpen up your persuasion skills. sorry but you lost all credibility under this vid...

  • @POPCANA

Of course I'm not biased, and actually I like Reagan very much. He had a great sense of humour, but he wasn't a strong president after all, and everything I wrote in my previous comments is about proven facts.

Anyone who claims that Reagan was mainly responsible for the fall of the wall, is utterly wrong.

So what about arguments instead of insults?

  • @Lintflas hmm... May I ask, are you a German into American history/politics? Because if you know a thing or 2 about American history, then maybe just maybe I am willing to take a listen on these "facts" of yours compared to other American Presidents. BUT if you're some European that just wants to rant about a specific event that involves an American President where u feel the need to "point out the facts" or "disprove" us Americans then feel free to further be taken unserious.

    u shall proceed

  • god bless Mr.Reagan's soul..r.i.p

  • man do we need a leader like this again....this country cannot afford to stay weak for a minute

  • One true PATRIOT.

  • You got that right. We need Reagan more then ever.

  • Ronald Reagan was a big man, of big, big debt!!!!!

  • That is funny considering Obama's spending habits.

  • IDIOT!

Reagans economic gain crushes anything Obama can, has, or will achieve.

  • R. REAGAN - GREATEST !

  • lol... i favor obama too, but can you really trust a guy who just made 7 mistakes in that "one" sentence

  • ah i looked EVERYWERE for this, THANK YOU!

  • Ronald Reagan was a true lover of peace. He understood how importent it was to destroy the commies in russia, and he did it, without any war. Reagan freed eastern Europe from the evil of russia/soviet. Reagan 4 ever

  • Solidarity movement in Poland freed eastern Europe from Soviet union.

  • It was rather a compilation of three things: Pope John Paul II, Ronald Reagan as US President and (some may not belive) Mikhail Gorbachev in USSR (though some also add Margaret Thatcher to this). And Solidarity came as the result of these three (although strictly Gorbachev was later)...

  • Poles were the first to do non violent protests in the east block. After Poland started doing it all the other countries started doing the same. Polish soliderity movment had 10 million members and that was the biggest political group in europe ever.

  • That's right. But we should never forget who inspired us to do it: Pope, Reagan, Thatcher, Gorbachev...But still I'm very proud to be a Pole.

But where have we lost all that...

  • When it comes down to do things we unite and perform miracles, but that only happens when there is a dire need for it.

  • lol

  • lol u are funny

  • I have a crazy idea: before we force the rest of the world to become Democratic, maybe we ourselves should become a Democracy.

  • Rest in peace, Ron.

  • YES! Deutschland und Amerika über alles!!

  • Gorge W. Buch Went To China and Said THis Exact same quote. :) :) :)

  • oh yea what do u do for a living i am sick of people smacking down the president that make it safe for u to live and gives you the right to call him stupid so next u have a thought just let it go

  • Comment removed

  • yah guyz, u can't question the president, he's powerful and stuff. know ur role peasant.

  • Wow guys. First one guy says the theory of communism is stupid which is bullshit. Communism is brilliant on paper, it just can;t work in the real world. Then people say Reagan was the best President. No way. Than honour goes to a man by the name of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

  • Ronald Reagan, undoubtedly, was the greastest presidente of US history.

He and John Paul II, together, were responsible for what everybody thougth, at that time, was impossible, peacefully they destroyed the comunism, the worst doctrine men have conceived.

    God bless them

  • maybe he was a good politican, but he should not call devils' country(meaning the citizens of Soviet Union). I believe that good leader has to build better relations with others. Just like Hilary Clinton addressed to Putin, "KGB people have no souls." I discredit leaders who are so negative. I as the former Soviet citizen, I opened my arms to Americans. I treated them like kings when they visited the country, but when I came to the US, people telling me, "nobody needs you... Why are you here?"

  • well americans are like that...where did you go in america?

  • I've been almost everywhere. It is terrible to treat people like that. Sometimes, I feel sorry that the people from the former Soviet Union showed so much tollerence Americans and we are still unwearthy people. Problem is that politicans send wrong messages to people and brainwash ordinary Americans. When I visited first the US in 1990, people asked me if we had bathrooms and showers:-) I could not stop laughing that they had such wrong impressions about us.

  • yea i know what your talking about. Im chinese american and a lot of people call me communist just for being chinese. it was funny at first but then it go really old

  • you are not a fucking 12 year old, you fucking 50 and from Niger. fuck off spammer

  • Ronald Reagan was an even greater 'berliner' than John F. Kennedy

  • Back in the summer of 1987, when that great speech was delivered, the liberal democrats were laughing their asses off at Ronald Reagan, calling him a naive, extremist fool. But, in the end, President Reagan got the last laugh, the USSR/CCCP/Soviet Union is no more, the Berlin Wall is no more, and the United States is still the world's only superpower! God bless President Reagan, RIP.

  • You are brinwashed with propaganda. The Soviet Union did not collepsed because of Reagan. You are rewriting history.

  • Ronald Reagan deserves vast credit for provoking change in Eastern Europe and bringing down the USSR. No one in the 1970s and 1980s dared to hope the Berlin Wall would disappear in our lifetimes - yet Reagan made this speech and pressured Gorbachev, and two years later the Evil Empire was falling to pieces. I well remember all the complacent sneering liberals who thought he was foolish, but history proved Reagan greater than any of his critics, by FAR.

  • Well said. The left-wing liberals were wrong, President Reagan was right, and history shows that, no matter how much they wish it didn't.

  • You are so brainwashed. If Gorbachov had not start his "Glastonst and Perestroika" in 1985, and if the Soviet people did not participate for good relations with the West and breaking up the Soviet Union, it would not happen. Nobody is giving credits to us(participants). No matter what other people do on the earth, the US is always winner just like in James Bond movies:-)

  • Thanks, nice to meet you too! Perhaps you should give some thought to what happened 1981 - 85 before anyone ever heard of Gorbachev...... he only assumed power and then only was able to attempt his "Glasnost andd Perestroika" because of the desperation of Soviet leaders in the face of US economic and strategic resurgence, LED by Ronald Reagan. Other people certainly deserve some pieces of credit, but I lived through it and remember clearly the before & after change.... Reagan let the way....

  • I am not saying Reagan was bad. He understand politics very well. But the thing is that no matter who would be the US president between 1982-1988, Gorbachov still would end the Cold War. Also ending the cold war and demise of the USSR are two diffrent things.

  • I agree with PGThinker007. Ending the Cold War and breaking up the Soviet Union is diffrent subjects to talk about. 1) If Reagan was so great(well he was, but the was not magic man either), how come Cuba is not giving up. You see that Gorbachov ended the cold war. 2) The reason th USSR collepsed is because of ethnicity.

  • both Reagan and Gorbechev helped to bring an end to the cold war and an end to communism in eastern europe

cuba is actually opening up and becoming more democratic with more free markets and more liberalism

  • I lived in the USSR and I know who started ending cold war. It was Gorbachov. If Gorbachov did not take that initiative, Reagan would be still behind of the Berlin Wall.

There are a lot of books about Gorbachov and his "Glastnost and Perestroika" (means reforms and restructure). Actually, the US media does not give credits to Gorbachov and Reagan (I am not saying he was a bad politican) looks hero.

  • gorbachev was kicked out from presidency and replaced by boris yelstin?? gorbechev didnt do shit he actually made things worse in the USSR and led to USSR collapse

  • Thank God!

  • It was an ugly wall anyway.

  • Tee hee.

  • Any1 else play this over and over?

  • Nope

  • Did he remain in office after the assination attempt?

  • Oh yes. He took a few months to recover, but he made it back.

  • reagen smash

  • That's all I thought watching this.

  • Yes, Regan did make mistakes but so doesn't every human. It doesn't matter whether it is a president or a average American. Liberal or conservative, etc. Those that don't give a crap about politics. The religious and non-religious

PS.Clinton did make mistakes. We all make mistakes and make bad discussions.

  • Ronald Reagan: Peace through strength! He lives on!

  • Ronald Reagan was the greatest human being that ever lived. BAR NONE.

  • "y ahora ya no hay"

  • Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall!

If only Bush can be as firm on Terrorism as Reagan was towards communism.

  • Gee, I hope not. Communism still exists.

  • Excellent tribute to one of our greatest presidents!

  • Man, Mikhail Gorbachev was ace!

  • Mr. Grimgirmmerson, you have excellent taste. :)

  • Nicely done, Grimgrimmerson.

A good tribute to a great President.
