We told Leonard we were going to ask him boring questions. "Great", he said, "nobody ever asks me those". Professionals are always asking him the same stuff, to which he'll always give a pre-prescribed response. He liked the approach, so does it matter?
I wish the quality of the sound would've been better, I can't figure out anything. It's a pity, because from what I COULD figure out it sounds very interesting. Do you have a transcript of it?
What a gracious and courteous man, he has infinite patience and really listens to the questions you pose. I love his reference to Caruso. And he was really funny talking about the laptop that went on fire.
Leonard is still looking charming...!

he's a lovely person, really tunes in to each interviewer and responds in kind. thanks for this wonderfully low key conversation.

Great interview. It's funny how his voice seemed clearer at the very end just after removing the microphone.

Thanks for posting this, it gives a bit of personal feeling that most interviews lack. A window into a fascinating man.

The sound isn't perfect but it has a raw, natural quality that makes it unique. Media is just too slick these days anyways.

i agree. I like how it was more of a normal conversation towards the end rather than a strict interview with typical questions.
thanks for posting

I definitely liked the conversational feel! white walls -> tables -> busted computer.
Cohen seems like a thouroughly decent fellow. I like how he can acknowledge his songs are good, but admit to not being the greatest singer.
