  • Wheeeeeee Look at meeeeeee, I have a truck with flashing lights- Im important

  • How much were the lights?

  • Get a siren. It works....lol.

  • how would you install a complete light bar by the rear view mirror

  • go to 28 seconds and a biker goes by

  • To the idiot who said "Why pull over for you? Your no different than me" Let me just say when your house burns down because idiots like you dont pull over I dont feel a bit sorry for you. These people volunteer their time to protect us the least you can do is pull your dumb ass over.

  • Why pull over for you? Your no different then me.

  • Comment removed

  • @RuneFinity44 its thAn me, not thEn me.. then is a time comparison.

  • @FreerunNJ

All your proved in correcting my spelling (english isn't my first laungage, like you asume) if that your a ass hole on a power trip.

  • @RuneFinity44 English isn't your first language? WTF?? so i suppose French is? and even in French they have Time Comparisons too. And what does your little punk ass of a 14 year old do all day when he should be learning English? He plays video games all fucking day.

  • @FreerunNJ You are on a huge power trip :)

  • @FreerunNJ Your are VERY tough! You rip at 14 year olds and put faggot lights on your truck, helping you cope with your bad child-hood, low self-estiem, and small penis! Congratulations, asshole. And DO NOT comment about my spelling (which is only your last resort because you KNOW I am right) because english (nor french) is my first laungage.

  • @RuneFinity44 1. why did you reply twice? cause it sounds like your the one on a power trip. 2. i am not a in Emergency Management, which is why i dont have warning lights on my POV, this gentleman is which is why he has those lights, and if you come to new jersey, by State law you must yield to ANYONE with blue or red or blue and red lights or face a large fine and multiple points from your driver license. hang on.... oh, your mommy is calling you, so FUCK off this page and go fuck her.

  • @FreerunNJ You must of been a very sad child.

  • @FreerunNJ

Lol and buddy, just to let you know it's really hard to get caught and charged with that. I remember my uncle cutting off a volenteer fire fagget and blocking him in xD It was halariour. The power triped asshole call the cpos and they did nothing at all. Canada ftw, free to drive!

  • @RuneFinity44 more and more ems personal are installing dash cams, which as you might know records everything its sees, including license plates. and while canada is nice, i wouldnt want to live in a socialist state. peace out bro.

  • @FreerunNJ

    I live in canada!

  • @RuneFinity44 no shiz, like i didnt already know that, :p i still like The United States of America better.

  • @RuneFinity44

And if a fire truck smacks into your vehicle?

  • @Sismiques Don't got one ;p Only 15 right now. But 40 year old power triped VOLUNTEER fire faggets think they are righttt cool for bitching at on ON THE INTERNET. It's so halarious, yet so pathetic. And yes I know you will probally correct my spelling (everyone does that as a last resort when the know i'm right, lol) but english isn't my first laungage. I learned all this in 7 and 1/2 months so, bahhh...

  • You're the one on a trip.

Piss off the wrong emergency responder, bad things can happen to you.

    What is/are your other language(s)?

  • Nice and simple set up. Like it!

  • to wire them was it just connecting the sync wire and sending the power and ground through a switch?

  • what kind of lights are on your grille guard?

  • you live in pa?

  • Looks good man, thank you for your service

  • I've got one question: Is it allowed for you as a volunteer firefighter to use this lights in the traffic when you get ordered to an emergency? here in germany it is forbidden to use those lights on our private cars.

  • @AggroLandersum in the US it is allowed in all but 3 states but i think its only there as i havnt herd of any other place i am in australia and some volounteer brigades need there members to get to the stations quick and get the trucks out and as a few brigades members live up to 20 minutes away from the station it would be great if it was alowed here

  • @AggroLandersum depending on the state you live in..when you get called out your allowed to run lights...depending on the state the color changes. i know new york is just blue. some states are allowed red and white and a siren

  • @quadkid4 so you can run out only with lights? Are you allowed to pass a red traffic light or are the lights for warning only?

  • @AggroLandersum well i live in new york and for people in new york we can only run blue..blue is just a courtesy light meaning that other drivers dont HAVE to pull over. blue lights cant go through red lights, we have to stop at stop signs and we have to drive the speed limit. to my understanding other states are allowed to run a siren and red and white lights. so im pretty sure they can go over the speed limit and go through red lights and stop signs but every state is different

  • @quadkid4 thanks. You helped me a lot.

  • what kind of lights are on the grill guard?

  • What ate the small lights on the grill? I am trying to find those.

  • couldnt help but notice the 11 bravo army infantry plate on the front

  • @ifishfortarpon your not a trooper dude. why would you lie about that?

  • okay looks really nice but i live in ohio we canthave blue plus i hate having blue lights anyway

  • i cant wait until 2011 november 30th ill get my permitt then car then to fire station then to store to get gear for truck and my self lol

  • THis is balls you guys got to use actual blue lights to help move traffic where i came from being a volunteer we got GREEN lights wich sucked balls cause no one gave a shit

  • Believe me it all about how many lights and stickers they can put on their pov. Or pos around here. We have some good vollies but alot more hobbiest. In Texas lights or no lights you r still under same law. Pov is not emergency vehicle. They will get someone killed eventually. Heck even in a firetruck you need to follow all traffic laws that apply and drive safely per ur sops. Maybe they should spend more money on driver operator handbooks instead of thousands dollars of lights.

  • @frosty0419 I was waiting for someone to interject some common sense into this thread. I'm not against the use of visual or audible warnings, but one has to question people's motivations after reading all this. To aid neighbors/citizens/visitors, etc...or to impersonate police? Now don't everyone go freaking out at me, but seriously, read this thread as an outsider, what would you think?.

  • Bumper lights look really good, cant really see the others

  • How gay is that

  • great car

  • in VA you can only have red and white lights no blue

  • here in KS we can have any color. just goes to show you how much the laws differ

  • what about a siren as soon as i turn 16(nov5) im going to training and night school. i have a good place to get a light or two that also sell sirens.BTW im going to be a vollie not paid. i guess we differ from paid FF a little

  • it just depends on your state

  • i live in central VA

  • then you can only have two fire lights and a PA system but you cannot have a siren on your POV

  • Awesome vehicle!

  • how mutch were the lights?

  • hey...im an emt in nj and im lookin to redo my car becasue my current setup doesnt work well...what are the grille lights that you have on the truck? those are nice and bright.

    thanks.

  • I could be wrong but they look like Whelen TIR3 lightheads.

  • These led lights are whelen lin3s, prety bright lights and not too bad on the price. Personally i like the whelen tir3s better and there a little bit cheaper, but its realy what you want and what you like.

  • @dtom67 Your a NJ emt? I'm hopefully about to be a NJ volli FF in central Jersey. What color lights do you have on your car? I hate that we can't run red/blue but only Blue or blue/white and can't have a siren. Only assistant chiefs and chiefs are allowed to run blue/red and have a siren.

  • how much was it to install?

  • Free, I did it my self. Was not hard either.

  • nice....do people actually stop or yeild for you? pedestrian or driver???

  • Yeah this video is out of date, I only have a full size LED lightbar and High beam wigwags now. I will be posting a new video of the set up in a few days.

  • Aha we suck.

  • Is it illegal to have these on your car?

Just wondering because I am interested in Firefighting and would like to put a little something on my truck.

    Thanks

  • FDNY43, i am assuming you are from NY, you will need to get on a vol. fire department and apply for a permit, then you will be allowed to put blue lights on your vehicle

  • Please don't take this the wrong way, but firefighting isn't about putting lights on your vehicle. I know there's a little whacker in all of us- especially myself, and I've had to control it. But as long as you're a FF for all the right reasons, I see no problem with throwing away some money on lights (as long as it's legal and within department policy, of course)

  • Everyone deserves to have fun- Whatever shape it takes.

  • oh I absolutely agree, and I have fun running code. But I have more fun fighting fire.

  • Texas is pretty conservative about letting us run red, white, or blue lights. However, the Troopers (screw em) kind of get mad when they see blue. However, I really like your setup and if legal in your state, would recommend adding wig-wags to the headlights. They are my number 1 traffic mover.

  • I'd actually say Texas is pretty liberal (sorry, only appropriate word for it) about letting us use lights- I mean, they let us use 'em! And it actually gives us "emergency vehicle" status when responding to calls (as opposed to "requesting right of way," like blue lights in PA)- which is a lot more than many other states do.

Several guys on my department run red/blue, the cops around here don't care. I'm just gonna install red/red, myself.

  • PA has a very outdated law, it needs to be updated. The cops around here really could care less, even though the law says you're supposed to be visible from 360 degrees. But the law says you're only supposed to have two rotators. The law was written in 1975, hence it needs updated. My LED dash light is brighter than anything they had in 1975. But my fire chief is a dick that doesn't want any of us except the fire officers to have any lights at all.

  • I would upgrade the dash light just so its more visible. looks cool though.

  • hey i run with 1-2 up in Akron PA and i would like to ask you if you could tell me of send me the link for those bumper lights you got on there cause im trying to outfit my car and figured youtube would be good for some ideas?

  • Well unfortunately the state of Indiana is stupid we are 1 of 3 states that doesn't allow us to register as an emergency vehicle and our Blue light are only for courtesy people DO NOT have to pull over for us. I wish IVFA would adopt the emergency vehicle permit Idea but its been a 10 year fight.

  • Is NJ one of those 3 states?

  • zopperman, yes NJ is one of those states

  • @screamneagle20 what are the other two states that dont allow it ?

  • yea same with illinois

  • @screamneagle20 here in alabama were not allowed anything more than our vehicle's hazard lights and thats only if its outside city limits. we also have to obey speed limits and other vehicles... strobes can only be put on fire trucks, police vehicles, and ambulances...

  • @soadisawesome24 im a volunteer in franklin county alabama and several of us have lights, and drive as fast as we can to get to the scene!i mean really what are they gonna say to us?

  • @sabaker122 "Sir the reason I stopped you today is because i checked your speed at 50 MPH in a 25 zone. I promise the cat will still be up in that tree after you sign your speeding citation. And press down hard, you're signing 5 copies".

  • here in colorado we can have any color but green. you have to get the state to license you as an emergency vehicle, but that isnt hard. green is the command post

  • nice setup also

  • You are dead on about the blue light law. I am also on a vol. dept. in IN. I once had red lights in the rear window of my POV and got stopped by a DNR officer on the way to a call. I had a copy of the IC code for the blue light law, showed the paper and he let me on my way.

  • It is six now I thought it was only allowed to have 4? hhmmm

  • Man,you are a dinger

Are you aware you are only allowed by law to have one blue light/lens on vehicle?

  • In Indiana the blue light law states you can have up to 6 blue light fictures, Lightbar counts as 1, grill lights count as 1, dash light counts as 1, oh yeah and we can have red to the rear. The LAW varies from state to state. I am with in the standard of the I.V.F.A

  • Plus there is nothing in the indiana blue light law that states anything about lenses. I keep up to date with the laws being an employee of the local sheriffs department. thanks for the tip though.
