We now have two dogs - Kyle, a full grown Weimaraner that we adopted to give him a second chance, not a year after Dave's tragic death, and Buddy, a pomeranian x maltese that is easily the boss of the two. I am now sixteen and Kyle is nearly eight years old. Watching this video had tears rolling down my cheeks as I sobbed. I hope that both your dog, Wilson, and all other beautiful creatures R.I.P. His legs would buckle out from under him when he tried to walk. Mum would have to carry him outside so that he could go to the toilet and hand feeding him was the only option. @daBLACKOPSFREAK He had a mass in his intestine. I lost a boxer a year later to the same thing. Found out it was pithiosis aka "swamp cancer". They were getting it from swimming in our pond and drinking the water. It is typically a problem found in the gulf states where it is warmer most of the year. Another reason to hate global warming. I have a boxer now...Emma. She is not allowed at the pond and will be 2 in June and healthy as a horse.
So sorry about your little Wilson, What on earth happened to him? Only four months old is very very young to lose a dog. I have had Weimaraners for many years and overall have been very fortunate that most of them lived into their teens. Please feel free to contact me. This video made me cry because although my Indy has not passed I lost her for a whole year because she nipped a neighbor who probably deserved it as she is the sweetest dog and we had to send her out of state to live with relatives, but she was in quarantine for ten days and we did not think we could keep her. Luckily my fiance's parents agree to take her, but it was so miserable without her. These dogs feel like soul mates. I have had many breeds, but feel apart of me will die when she passes.
I lost my Pickle when she was 7+ years old. At the age of 2, she gave birth to a beautiful litter of 8 but only 5 made it. She had problems in her reproductive system, and leukemia in 2002. Not long after, we had to put her down as she was even more ill everyday. Unfortunately it has to be a day after I 'celebrate' my 14th birthday.
Pickle will always remain in my heart. Weima's are the best dogs in the world.

It is never borring I have also lost but I had him for 13 years but it feels the same no matter how long u had them because they take your heart that very moment u meet. Wilson was only 4 months old when he died. It was the most heartbreaking thing ever to watch him be sick and finally die. We both tried so hard to get him better. I will miss him always.
