Ten seconds in I said out loud: "body under the swingset." The camera sticks on that patch of dirt like it's fucking Brad Pitt. And that's the most practical place to bury a body, right? The ending was in bad taste as well. I feel like an asshole saying it, but the writing on this show is just flaccid, which is a shame, because the child actor in this one is remarkably good, and the moody atmosphere in the first minute was very effective. There are really solid elements at work, just not enough.

This wasa little disappointing as it was predictable the dad was a creeper ......and THEN he gets no punishment. I find it upsetting to watch an innocent child amongst a scary adult.

Well done. Though, some of the shots were boring. I wanted more movement. The swing was also incredibly annoying. The sound should have been more of a back round sound. The dialogue in the kitchen didn't really move the story until a few moments had past. I thought that could have been cut down as well.

But the story was good and the tension was nice. For a second I thought he was gonna kill the little girl which kept me antsy!

hey doug, i like the idea a lot and the way u turned it was scary and macabre. I think it is the darkest way of a human mind that u ever showed off. (No mutant, no vampire no insane clown...just DAD) Thats Stephen King like and i love it. Things i dont like are the annoying swingset sound...has to be less noisy or shorter. The fact that hes the dumbest killer (Wife in backyard, easy job for cops. ) is a whole n the plot but ok for the thrill. great acting, nice angles. Good job doug!

*Spoliers* I understand your point about the dad bring a dumb killer, but I had him bury her under there for two reasons. Functionally, the dad figured that no one would look under the swingset when looking for the wife's body. And the loose dirt the burial would cause could be explained by the constant use by the daughter.

@Anavrin90s The sound is a problem that I have had with doing the scores and sound FX on the show. Some people who watch the show have external speakers and some people listen to it through their built in computer speakers. I have to find a happy medium when designing the sound to optimize for both. For instance, I have scored entire pieces to find that they are too low pitched to even register on internal computer speakers, and had to redo the soundtrack.

@Anavrin90s As far as the sound on the swing set, apparently some people's speakers apparently are more sensitive to higher pitched frequencies, so the sound of the swing set is louder to some.
