@the70stang it is powerful enough to be able to do that if you don't know what you are doing with the machine. by the way, nice mustang video on your channel.
steam is dangerous to clean a car with. Because of the rubbers and plastic parts on a car. Even the bumpers are easily te be damaged with a steamcleaner. you'll burn these parts without a doubt.
that's new to me but I really doubt this method could deal with real car dirt like some mud, dust ect. this G Class after steam treatment as clean as it was before, just more shiny.
It maybe good for car dealers who want their cars look perfect but is it good for regular car wash??
pure steam set at enough high temperature for maximum cleaning capacity but won't peel off any finishing materials like some of people concerned. it also has enough pressure at 60 to 100psi which will blow even smallest micro grits before drying off with microfiber. It's actually the safest way to clean car compare to conventional methods available now. You really have to see this in action to believe it.
Yes, straight water steam with 100psi of the pressure. The system only uses 0.05 gallon of water per minute compare to 4-5 gallons using high pressure washer.
no, it's actually great for the wax as we are only using steam, not any detergent type cleaning agent which will remove wax after a few washes. Think of the steam as a warm mist with high pressure. It cleans better with warm temperature than room temperature if you compare it.
Bird shit that has been sooked for days is hard to get cleaned with a high pressure water pomp. What can a steamcleaner do about that? and Why can't I use the steamcleaner that I bought from tell sell?? :) effect is the same right?
It takes 1 Hour+ to finish your car you will be having a fine cleaned car when finished I'm sure but the G-Class you're working on has to take half a day just hope you don't get any Shit when driving out the garage.
not to be argumentitive(sp) but waxes break down from heat. Its wax like a candle, even polymeres(sp) and tephlon(sp) break down with heat. detergents and soaps speed up the breaking down process, think dish soap on grease, but heat is the number one enemy. Im sure you will disagree, you're trying to sell a product, like i said im not trying to argue about it just wondering how you don't remove a sealent(sp)
Hi dadaoso75. As far as I know from talking to chemists from companies like meguiars and 3d products, whether it's polymer based synthetic wax type or natural wax like canauba, should sustain the heat from the natural heat in the desert. If the wax just breaks down in those natural condition, you probably shouldn't be using it on your customers car. The surface tempe can easily reach 160 in the sun and when we wash exterior of vehicle using our product, our operation temp is way below
Not at all. The steam will dissolve even finest grits off the surface then wiped off to dry using microfiber. There are no scrubbing which makes it the most safe way to wash that's available these days. I am steam washing lots of high-end vehicles and my customers are all repeated customers. It's not just cleaning exterior though, what's equally important is to clean and sanitize interior space using steam which is 100% chemical-free.
Does it take of the wax? It seems like all that heat and pressure might be able to.

I seriously doubt this steam thingy can clean mud or hardened dirt. It would probably work better on the interior.

you are cleaning a clean car! Wow! Next time show me a muddy car with pigeon shit on it, and I will give you some respect.

Not very effective as a true carcleaning tool though ..except for interiors.
But i guess it could be a great tool for maintaining an indoor private-car-collection! atleast cheaper as hiring people to do it for you.

"Think of the steam as a warm mist"
To get steam you have to heat it to over 100oC, that's more than warm!
Zeamus634 2 years ago
Our system produces high pressure steam, rated at 100psi. That is something more than a warm mist.

won't the heat from the steam, speed up the break down of waxes? I know the heat from sun does, just was wondering about steam
dadaoso75 3 years ago
No, Our test shows that it's the detergents and soaps that breaks off the wax faster and easier than the heat.
Meguiars NXT 2.0 lasted about 3-4 months on our test vehicle.
