  • pls tell me what kind of spinning is this 2:41

  • @bioniclegods i got bored checked your recent activity and a couple of your vids and are those masks made in pivot or sumin?

  • @tisfatman they are made from paint :D

  • Hi eteune, Do you believe the Bo staff to be a good tool for developing core/internal strength?.

  • Hi eteune, In the routine, why do you place your non-active arm/hand on your shoulder?.

  • @Sick3ninVend3tta ah good question. I started with it lower, but putting it up by my shoulder not only took it 'out of the way' but readied it for taking the staff if switching hands, blocking if the staff got out of control (near my head), or other attack or defense moves I wished to incorporate

  • 1000 punch workout. My wrists hurt after about 100 daily punches. I spent last winter living 100' from a Maine beach, and exercised in the sand every morning. Found that doing the yoga exercise where you stand on one foot and make a "T" (with your body, legs and arms horizontal) strengthened the feet and ankle so much that I ran faster and longer, and had greater foot speed.

  • @lorrin1950 cool, yeah, I usually only do about 500 punches for exercise, but just wanted to try 1000

  • Impressive movements. I also bought a six foot pole at Lowe's and used that until my wife needed some new coat hangar rods in the closet.

I lost 23 pounds since January using an early morning routine using Tai Chi and Yoga for a warm up, and then using the bo against a BOB striking target. For leg strength and agility I mix in some soccer ball dribbling, which helps work up a sweat.

I got some really good ideas watching you and plan on watching your other video's.

    Thanks.

  • @lorrin1950 impressive weight loss, way to go man! you should try my 1000 punch workout on BOB :) check that one out too. Thank you for the kind comments, I'm very glad you found something useful here.

  • thanks for the vid very help full

  • nice work

  • your not old or fat to me

  • eteune...AWESOME Video! I have learned a great deal from your videos on how to spin the Bo Staff.

  • @ruzickaw Have you tried them? or do you just sit in your lazy chair, never move, and imagine yourself to be wise? :)

  • Thanks!

Yes, this was my first bo staff and still my favorite. $6 for a 6 foot 1.25 inch diameter staff at home improvement store. I just added some wood stain to protect it from the elements. You've seen my "make your own bo staff" vid, right?

  • Good job Ed,

Did you make that bo your Self?
