UT0527, hwanj 님들깨 전적으로 동감. 저는 중학교, 고등학교때 롤링스톤즈, 비틀즈, 레드제플린을 외우다시피 들었었지만 아름다운강산을 처음들었을 땐 충격 그 자체였습니다. 미련, 봄, 햇님, 님은먼곳에, 등등 모두 어디에 내놔도 밀리지 않는 곡들이라 생각합니다. 그리고 여러 천재들이 있었던 서양과 달리 신중현은 한국에서 비교할 상대조차 없는 그야말로 천재중의 천재죠. 모든 걸 감안해서 비틀즈에 필적하는 음악입니다. 세계적으로 알려지지 않았을 뿐이죠 - 제 생각입니다.

I cannot express my respect to Maestro Shin Jung-Hyun enough. He is definitely a genius who created something (Korean Rock) from nothing; needless to say, there was no tradition of a kind of music called Rock at all in Korea.

At least for me, he is definitely the all-time NUMBER 1 figure in the history of Korean Pop Music. (BTW, the second is another great man, Cho Yong-Phil. ^^;;;)

Title : Longing for her

Of the path that my aimless mind is led into, there is a place with full of memories of a person whom I loved so dearly.
