My boyfriend's cats Vader and Josie are "singers" they howl and meow when they're hungry in the morning and for whatever reason. They howl when you call them by their names or when they want attention. I don't mind when cats howl for no apparent reason, it's funny but I guess it can get annoying when you live with them. They're just silly kitties.
I could understand if he was Siamese. They never shut up! But he might meow like this at 6:30 a.m. if you haven't fed him. Either way, he's more vocal than the average cat.
Cats are funny critters....sometimes they just talk for the sake of hearing themselves and for the benefit of any other feline real or imagined within earshot. Cute meow btw!
looks like your cat needs a scratching post. he's clawing your furniture.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE MY CAT who passed away last april And he was deaf and he howled just like this but in a deeper tone i miss it :O!

Aw, I'm sorry for your loss. This kitty also passed away just a few months ago and he was also deaf. I miss him!!

My cat howls too. She mostly does it when she doesn't know where we are and she's carrying a pair of socks around the house.
