Lazy drumimg, the bass should be running everywhere and the guy on keyboards should have taken his axe off. Lead vocal very good. A great song like this needs a lot more effort. Still, enjoyed you're work.

fyi, the bass is played 'exactly like the record' because we like to show respect to the original artist and producer - we do not interpret. I'm playing keyboard with the axe around my neck because we have a pack of dancers out of camera range who get annoyed if we take too long between songs. There's always a reason... The song was written by professional song writers Scott English and Larry Weiss. It was recorded by The Outsiders and Eric Burdon at roughly the same time but Eric Burdon had the worldwide hit with it. His version reached #29 on the US Billboard chart and THe Outsiders version reached #37.

this song was COVERED by the outsiders at the same time eric burdon released it originally !!! eric burdon got higher in the charts than the outsiders anyway both versions good but erics version takes it away !! the substitutes are a real good hardworking team and they did real good with their cover however u guys are comparing them to the originals give em a break the substitutes deserve it !!!
