AMEN on your comment. # 1 when I spent the money on a gun I want a metal gun. I used to play with plastic guns when I was a kid. # 2 I can not stand the safety on glock, I know they say they are great, but to me they are not. CZ for me.

And, Glockboy, my brother has a .40 Glock and this gun; we both prefer the CZ.

I have both and like them both, some of the best guns you can buy.

@kevo1264 Pistols are worth comparing precisely for their differences... full size vs. compact and subcompact; polymer vs. aluminum and steel frames; .40S&W vs. 9mm and other calibers. I also like my brother's Glock but I wanted to make it clear to a certain poster (2012whatever) that it isn't the "beat all end all" brand. The CZ 75 is one of the most underrated handguns around.

@2012MYAsSkG A glock you say to get? You poor little youngsters with your "glock this" and "glock that". I know that "glock" is the "cool" new kiddie fad when talking about firearms, but the wimpy glock has a little bit of a problem with... something like EXPLODING!! Do you know HOW MANY officers on the force that such has happened to already? Do you know how many PD's have discontinued glock as their service sidearm? Apparently not. But GLOCK IS SO COOL you say? LOL, dumb kids todays!!

@SargentBlah A fad? You realize the glock was first produced almost 30 years ago. Now Ruger SR pistols or the new M&P pistols or the XD's could be considered fads as they are quite new. But glock is a little bit past a fad at this point.

There are problems with all pistol designs. I know people who shoot glocks all the time with no problems.

@SargentBlah My Glock is from 1984 haha yup these youngsters with new glocks. Never expolded except the little expolsions of the bullet going off. Glock started a new era for handguns. None where as reliable, its the reliability of an ak-47 and accuracy of an ar-15 in the handgun world.

@2012MYAsSkG Try a SIG Sauer my friend. Better ergonomics and a lot of milittary and police love SIG's. I own a Glock 21 and it performs well, but never been much of a glock guy, but as long as any gun will perform well, I am in. Just try to broaden your horizions a bit my friend. Cause I know there are actually some handguns that can perform equally or better than a Glock. If the Glock was the best pistol in the world, then every country would consider it their standard side arm.

@tuck234 Dear God I wish I could afford one. Sigs are awesome, I love there grip. But i can't own one yet because of their price. And about the military using them I've fired Berretas and I think glocks have better grips(a big thing in my mind) so atleast American military could use a Glock as a standard. I know SEALs use Sigs from what I've heard.

@2012MYAsSkG Yeah, but the US Military are a bunch of cheap charlie's when it comes to weapons. Beretta was good enough and performed pretty well and was around their price range. I like Glock grips as well, but my SIG P226 is a more comfortable for me though. It was expensive, but you really do pay for what you get. Also own a Colt M1911 Special Combat Gov't Model. Expensive as well, but really fun to shoot with.
