  • would bc2 run maxed out with this and AMD phenom 3.4ghz

  • lol i bought this card in november last year for only 350 € in a local shop :D

now its still 460 € xD

    sapphire ftw <3

  • @gamermax007 yes like the 5750 120€ before 140€ now

  • WHYY VAPOUR, why not Vapor

  • that would look so good in my case. I <3 Sapphire

  • I got this monster a few months back. An awesome card that won't dissapoint anyone. Plays everything at max without any problems

  • My brothers old gtx295 is a little bit faster than my hd5870 toxic, just like 2 or 3%

  • @NBAasDOGG Well, the GTX 295 is a dual GPU video card so it isn't a fair comparison. It would be if you had a double crossfire setup of the HD 5870 video card. BTW your awesome card is awesome. =D

  • @Kinzinh0 HD5870 in 2 way crossfire has eve better performance than the HD5970 so gtx 295 is not a challenge.

  • 0:30

Wait! The power connectors aren´t located at the side, they are located at the front of the card.

  • i got this bad boy, runs everything maxed out

  • asus 5870s are better!

  • what a gay video

  • hey does any 1 else out there not ike the heat sink on these cards or is it just me..??

  • @techwap4

hey what where did you get that soundclip??

i wanna listen to it when i cant sleeeeep @_@

  • lol wtf country graphics card XD

  • what is the difference between power color radeon 5770 hd and the normal one? except the price... and the shape.

  • Nshitia

  • @CobraGMW2 agreed!

  • @CobraGMW2 actually this is a kick ass card it is older but still almost beats some of the newest cards such as the gtx 580

  • Is the sapphire HD 5850 Toxic edition better than XFX black edition HD5850 ??

  • Seems like Powercolor have released a similar version of 5870 with a better cooler named 5870 PCS.

  • You heard wrong. nVidia's Fermi will use DX11

  • nvidia sux ati 4 lyfe y0

u nvida ppl jus jelus of ati power

  • Comment removed

  • ATi now has 3d too, so...

  • Well Nvidia sucks. I have a Nvidia card on the computer I use now a BGF 8800GTS. And it sucks, no options for overclocking.

  • do you know how to overclock an nvidia videocard

  • No shit it sucks, your card is so out of date. It's like saying "Honda sucks, my 2001 civic is garbage" on a Nissan Z370 video... fucking noob GTFO!

  • I paid a high price for it but it didn´t got good performance. And look at Nvidia today. ATI Graphics card have far more clock speed than Nvidias cards.

  • you have a point about ATI for the time being, but I won't be surpised if Nvidia comes out with better cards than 5970.

As for performance, is it because you're refering them to higher end cards of today? cause that's down right stupid. 8800 at it's time was good. Go cry in the corner.

  • of course they will, if they release a card 6 months later and it's worse than the other company, they got to be tards...

  • @kipdokken if so ,nvidia will suffer....

  • nice card to spin around warm air inside ur case

  • ordered one after watching newegg like a hawk for weeks

  • Niceeeeeeeeeee

  • This card is EXPENSIVE. ;o

    I might just go for 2 4870 vapour-X's

  • if you don't want directx 11 that is a pretty good idea

  • How come I can't get Directx 11? TwT

  • b/c direct x 11 is only available on the 5000 ATI series, and the not yet out 300 Nvidia series.

    :-)

  • Oh! I see. :D

I'll do without for now and maybe work my way up to those cards in the future. :]

  • ya, unless you want d x 11 you might as well not get the super expensive cards.....you should look into the 4890 pretty nice cards, reasonably;y prices too. :-)

  • AMD could be doing way more money if they were able to supply with the high demand, noobs D:

  • Nvidia are ftl for the moment, too much power, too much money, and no bang for buck.

I'm not a fan boy, but i gotta say i agree with u 100% and they could rack in some serious profits.

  • wtf r u talking about neither nvidia or amd can release any cards lately cause its not up to them....its up to the companies that make the chips....please people inform your selves more in websotes like fudzilla....it is ridicules the things you hear from people this days

  • lmao you are stupid, pl0x dont talk about shit you dont even know, and not to metion that in my 1st comment I NEVER mention the REASON WHY, there is and shortage on the production on GPUs.

I just point out the obvious that AMD isnt capable of supplying the high demand and how that affect the earing rates, which is the TRUTH, and once again Im NOT pointing out the reason why there is a shortage, PLZZ LEARN TO READ...

  • lol

at least they already launched their new cards, what about nvidia?

they had to delay the GF100 cards cuz they couldnt produce enough chips in time of the previous release date lol

  • @Czyerx Nvidia won't have anything for a few months. They just got their pants sued off by RAMBus. RAMBus is the company who developed the DDR, DDR2, DDR3, GDDR3, and XDR2 memory technologies. For 10 years Nvidia has been violating their patents. Thanks to the lawsuit Nvidia can no longer import any cards into the United States that violate the patents. This includes all of the GTS and GTX series of cards along with some of the Quadros. Nvidia got screwed.

  • lmao

that made me laugh so hard :'D

  • Good luck actually getting your hands on one! They are more rare than hens teeth!

As a matter of fact all the HD5870 cards are hard to find! WTF ATI?!

  • they aint hard to find at all, im gettin one of those in a couple of days :P

  • lol really? Well every major retailer has them on back order.

  • agreed

  • sure did u get ur card yet i bet u dint

  • actully my card got delayed for a month xD

so im gonna cancel it :(

  • That's one sexy card.

  • its such a shame its selling for £380 what a rip off !!!! i waited and held off a standard 5870 to get this, its not worth an extra 60 70 qiud just for a cooler what wher they thinking, did the 4890 versions cost anything like this?

  • only $399 at newegg

  • yeh m8 but im british we take it in the ass for prices. they mst think we all live in castles sipping tea with the queen and polishing our golden tiaras

  • actually sounds like there taking there sweet time waxing your ass before going surfing!! to me sounds just how they treat us when it comes to a porsche. well you might want to wait a little longer, if you have to buy it from here so what. I doubt the shipping is going to rack up what you will save.

  • LOL, but 99,9% British people are do so.

  • what?! u guys don't....

  • @dave00dance lol dude LMAO!! XD

  • @dave00dance Aye!

  • but realy just polishing are nobs but i think im speaking for my self

  • @dave00dance I say! What rubbish is this?

  • @dave00dance Wait, seriously? You don't live in a castle? Ugh common.....

    :P ;)

  • @dave00dance You don't? Damn, you destroyed my whole view of the UK! I thought all Brits are driving Aston martins, have a Butler named "James" and play Rugbi all day long. Last but not least, everyone is close friend with the Queen. Did I mention the Rain? Srsly, the 5xxx Generation of ATi really did, what Nvidia did before. I bought my 1950PRO&3870 ~8Months after release for about 150 Euros.Cheapest 5870 today in Ger. Is about 322€ And that since Months.I Bet it stays that way even after 6870

  • Thats what I always thought...

  • @dave00dance your 1 year old comment made me roll on the floor from laughing

  • lol dude 380 is chap thats like regular price, you must be thinking of the 5850, but all 5870 cost around 350 to 380

  • By the look of it, I reckon that this one will fit in more cases than the reference HD 5870 does.
