  • @AnahiemerOC the shame is that prayer isnt gonna save us, a lifestyle of obedience will. we are going to sin, and there is repentance and forgiveness available to continuously cleanse us of sin. We cant live in sin and expect to be saved.

  • you hear, believe what is heard, repent of your sins, confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God, then you are baptised for the remission of sins. that's how its taught , thats what is found in the bible. Church of Christ does not teach remission without repentance.

  • find here the words of men, not the words of the bible.

  • important: do all at the same time. god will provide. amen.

  • basic step to be a christian: repent( turn away from your sins), beleive(the gosple or good news about jesus christ), confess, be baptize(immersed) in jesus name, then the holy spirit will dwell in you. and thats just the beinging of your christian life.

  • many evangalicals, tv ministeries, crusades: push the sinners prayer to extreme. yet when a person reads gods word, the only they are right is this preaching the gosple to the lost: throwing good seeds. and its up to the individual to choose to be baptize for remissions of sins. but it depends what church he goes:lutherans, pentecostal, charasamtics, churchsofchrists, or any 35,000 diffrent denominations or non.

  • i know those types of denominations or non: we dont rely on doctrine of church stateman but what is biblical period. so your telling me jesus lie about his commission?...ill pray for you.

  • all i see is church statment agendas. that are contary and cherry picked to back up churchs belief. i go straight to the bible. you throw scripures good. but you lack one thing. you need to be baptized. the fault: is those pastors, preachers, miniters that tell false salvation by sinners player. many are just blind.

  • St.Mark 16:15-16" And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that beleive and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." in ST.Mattew 28: 20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have cammanded you:"

  • your ignoranly taught by false preachers. an anti-baptizing church lol... thats .no diffrent from other false christianity like johovah witness.

  • @uwique apostasy! any unbeliever can see its all words flattering to god.

  • @uwique the majority of sinners prayer converts. arent that dedicated in christ teachings. i seen how they live thier lives. always do sinners prayer constanly after they go to clubs and who knows.

  • besides billy graham, hillsong church fellowship roman catholics and the pope. besides the sinners prayer is the same prayer of the roman catholic prayer excepted saying *holy catholic church. they both sound similar? huh?

  • @uwique wrong! where does the scripure say: peter to preach the sinners and say a prayer and then they raised thier hands and do the sinners prayer? not even one verse in the new testimant! yes we are saved by grace not of our works so no man can boast. but jesus commanded john the baptize him. to fullfill all rightouesness. even paul was baptized and all that became christians in the book of acts.

  • @AnahiemerOC a church agenda that cherry pick scripures to back up their faith statement. relys on sinners prayer with no baptizim(immersed). and music that influnced worldy music to combined so called christian music. its all lukewarm and fake not line up biblical. but is contary to what is biblical.

  • thanks to orthodox christians that maintain the holy scripures. but latin vulgate has send many mislead catholics to hell. old vulgate exposed the papacy fruadness at its best. that why the inquision started. anyone show me where can i find the sinners player preaching to the lost? none! peter himslef did this preached about the good news. those who repent and believe christ got baptized. and 3000 were added.

  • ball road church of christ is what im a member of. and is a strong bible believing church unlike them other lukewarm churches. but there is alot of bible believing churches that arent church of christ. let this denomination or none denomination shun. im christian! and a follower of yeshua! and im not ashame of the gosple. uniontrains get your facts straght and stop supporting sodonmites like rick warren. god bless those who hold the teachings of christ.amen

  • i wont go to an denominations or non that bows to the pope of rome. real christianity is based on: repenting, believing that jesus is the christ or good news, and be baptize. all in the book of acts people repent, believe, baptize. and of course communion. tell me on scripure that a man was saved by a sinners prayer none!

  • ive been to many diffrent kinds of denominations: charamatic/pentecostal/mondernism(so called saved by sinners prayer churches with worldly influnce) calvinist/mixed) most of them have corrupted agendas, money, power. and many evangelicals are uniting with vaticuim.

  • uwique, you have chosen your path. Best wishes to you. I have spoke with others like you before who prefer the doctrines of men (Mt. 15:9) over the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9). I do care about your soul & I hope you go to heaven. You will be in my prayers. But, you do not show interest in God's word with an honest heart. I believe others who are diligently seeking the truth of God's word will read the dialogue here & read the Scriptures. Those with an honest heart will obey all God commands.

  • We are commanded to preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Timothy was told to preach the word (2 Tim. 4:2). But not all people want to accept the word of God and obey Him. As the parable of the sower attests (Mt. 13:1-23), the seed (word of God) does not always reach good ground (a good heart, Heb. 4:12). This results in profane and vain babblings (1 Tim. 6:20; 2 Tim. 2:16) which we are told to avoid. Those who reject the truth for error worship God in vain (Mt. 15:9, 13-14).

  • Regardless of showing a person b/c/v authority, many turn from the truth for their own desires (2 Tim. 4:3-4). Jesus is head over & savior of His church (Eph. 5:23) which He died for (Eph. 5:25).The Bible declares there is only one (Eph. 4:4-6; Col. 1:18). Yet many despise the church of God (1 Cor. 11:22) which He purchased with His own blood (Acts 20:28). The Bible never speaks of Roman Catholicism/Greek Orthodox/Protestant denominations. You can simply be a Christian as they were in the Bible.

  • I do believe that only few will be saved (Luke 13:23-24; Mt. 7:13-14) & these few are the obedient (Mt. 7:21-23; Heb. 5:9) who obey the full gospel and are added by the Lord unto His church (Acts 2:47), the one body (Eph. 4:4-6) of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27; Acts 20:28; Rom. 16:16). Because the Bible says this, I accept it. However, I wish nobody hell. I hope all will obey God. Yet, I pray for the atheists and those who do not obey the gospel (2 Thess. 1:8-9) that God will have mercy on their souls.

  • It is getting late and I must go now. I hope those who read the conversation will open up their Bibles, read the verses posted, with an open mind and honest heart and choose to do as God says. Look up the verses. The opinions of men do not matter. We will all be judged by the word of God. Many will not accept baptism is essential for salvation but God put it there for a reason. Many today could erase every passage of baptism and it would not affect their doctrine. We must trust God over men.

  • show me a scripture where it says u cant be saved on your last dying breath,,as long as u have breath,u can repent to god..anything else said,is not scriptural,,its just opinion.

  • @uwique If the individual obeys the gospel prior to death, he/she can be saved. That requires hearing (Rom. 10:17), believing (Heb. 11:6), repenting (Luke 13:3), confessing (Rom.10:9-10) and be baptized (Mark 16:16) = then, and only then, is one saved added by the Lord unto His church (Acts 2:47) which He saves (Acts 5:23). One must then live faithfully until death (Rev. 2:10). But if the person lacks obedience = he/she dies a lost soul. You can't have it both ways.

  • @vhopson ahh ,but by repenting to god,he was obedient, and then he died.confessing his sins,is the same as repenting,,the 1 who repents shall have eternal life,,your trhrowing too much into it.

  • @uwique No, I simply accept all that God commands. You do not. You want to accept some but not all. How will you answer God on judgement if you die without doing as He said? Luke 6:46, Jesus said, "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" Will you answer, "but I did part of what you said"? Friend, Jesus commands baptism in Mark 16:16, like it or not. Obey Him. Do not follow after your own will but do His will.

  • @vhopson sorry..but i dont beleive in the arrogant doctrine of the COC,,so i not worried about standing before god cuase i know i'm right.

  • @vhopson Your question is similar to asking, "why couldn't Noah have used cedar wood?" Because God instructed him to build the ark of "gopher wood" (Gen. 6:14), there was no need for God to say "but not cedar, maple, etc." God was specific. His specificity excluded all others. Similarly, when the Bible tells us what one must do to be saved and provides us the conversion examples of people obeying as God commanded, there is no need God to say or us to ask, "why not this way".

  • @vhopson ok listen,,if a man gets saved on his deathbed and dies without being baptised,,where does he go??,,its a simple question.

  • @uwique No biblical hope of heaven means he dies lost. The lost will go to hell. All disobedient to God will go to hell.

  • @vhopson wrong answer,,if 1 repents on his deathbed and means it with all his heart,he will be saved,,and if he dies,he will goto heaven..god tell us to repent of sin,,if u repent to god for your sin, u have been obedient,,,,,dont make it complicated for yourself.

  • I disobeyed you all my life but now I face death, please save me now". Why should God (Rom. 11:22) save the disobedient?why??simple,,anyone who calls on the name of the lord will be savedI disobeyed you all my life but now I face death, please save me now". Why should God (Rom. 11:22) save the disobedient?

  • @uwique That is an interesting study, for "calling on the name of the Lord" means obedience. Paul was obedient, calling on the name of the Lord, when he obeyed in Acts 22:16. Yet Jesus says in Mt. 7:21, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." And in Luke 6:46, Jesus says, "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" Yet you say anyone, Jesus didn't say that.

  • @vhopson your right,,he didnt say "anyone",,he said who soever.. calls on the name of the lord.

  • @uwique And what part of "not everyone who says Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mt. 7:21) do you not understand? Jesus says there that "but he that does the will of my Father" (thus, the obedient). Only the obedient will be saved. You still want the disobedient to be saved.

  • @vhopson ok,,enough with your double talk ok?..if u repent to god and ask forgiveness of sin,u r being obedient...obedience starts with repentance,,your church leads people into confusion..here..1 more time ok,,by grace u are saved thru faith,,,,no water here,,get yourself out of that cultic church your in and find a biblical church to goto.

  • @vhopson And what part of "not everyone who says Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mt. 7:21) do you not understand?i understand every bit of it..it also refers churches like yours who preach false doctrine, and try to make a simple plan of salvation into a complicated theological babble..i think mt 7;21 refers more to the COC than anyone else.

  • when u ask god to forgive u of sin, then his grace saves you,,your saved by god cuase he let u off the hook when we all should be condemmed.

  • @uwique Provide b/c/v of one saved as you teach.

  • @vhopson yeah ok..by grace are u saved thru faith,,no water here....luke 1313;3..unless u repent...no water here..mt 4'17..repent,,for the kngdom of god is at hand,,,no water here.

  • @uwique Saving faith is faith that obeys. Disobedience does not save. You provided Mt. 4:17 and accept it but you reject Matthew 28:18-20? Why not accept all that Christ commands?

  • @vhopson do u not know scriptrures that tell u how to be saved??

  • @uwique The bible declares many things which save: grace (Titus 2:11), blood of Christ (Eph. 1:7), the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:17), the gospel (Rom. 1:16), faith (Heb. 11:6), repentence (2 Cor. 7:10), obedience (Heb. 5:9), confession (Rom. 10:9-10), baptism (1 Peter 3:21), faithfulness (Mt. 10:22), and Jesus is the Savior of His church (Acts 2:47, Eph. 5:23). I accept all of this.

  • Read Colossians 2:8-15. Let no one fool you, we've been buried with Christ in baptism, a circumcision made without hands. We died to the old man and was raised in newness of life. We were dead in our sins because of our uncircumcision of flesh, but He made us alive with Him, forgiving our sins through the baptism.

  • @josephleehamm in him u were circumcised,,you were forgiven already,,u see that??,,so now u put off the sinfull nature,,now the baptism part here represents and BECOMES a representation of what happened to you when u got saved,,when u get saved,,u already buried the sinfull nature now the baptism is a representation of what u have done to indicate your truly saved.

  • @uwique Yes, I see that they were forgiven already in the baptism.

  • @josephleehamm the baptism didnt forgive them, the scripture plainly says that,,"in HIM,,you have been circumcised already,,that means its done,,the baptism is a REPRESENTATION or INDICATION of 1 that is truly saved,,the water doesnt do the saving.

  • @uwique i think my question deserves an answer.

  • @uwique Please provide book/chapter/verse so that I can read the verse you reference. Thank you.

  • @vhopson church of chris=body of beleivers,,,not a denomination,,like yours.

  • @uwique Jesus built His church(Mt. 16:18), died for His church (Acts 20:28; Eph. 5:25), is head over His church (Eph. 5:23), adds the saved to His church (Acts 2:47) and is Savior of His church (Eph. 5:23).The Bible declares there is one body (Eph. 4:4) that the body is the church (Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18).Thus, the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27) is the church of Christ (Rom. 16:16; Acts 20:28). Individually, members only wear the name honoring Christ: Christian (Acts 11:26, 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16).

  • @vhopson eph 2 verse 5..for by GRACE you are SAVED thru faith,,titus 3;7,,having been justified by grace..2nd cor 12 v 9,,my grace is SUFFICIENT for you...you know what grace means??it means letting somone off the hook who doesnt desrve it.

  • @uwique We are saved by Grace (God's part) through Faith (our part), absolutely. Is salvation conditional or not? If not, all would be saved. If not, why did the Jews on Pentecost ask, "what shall we do?" (Acts 2:37) and why did the Jailor ask, "what must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30). If there is nothing we must do, why these questions? And why weren't the answers "do nothing"? The reason is because salvation is conditional.

  • @vhopson We are saved by Grace (God's part) through Faith (our part), absolutely..you see?your saved already,,you feel the need to add more to that cuase you think u need to be dunked under water,,and u dont,,its not part of repenting.

  • @vhopson Is salvation conditional or not? If not, all would be saved.conditional??LOL..salvation is for all who ask,,god doesnt force his way on anyone.

  • @uwique Romans 6:3-6 shows that the body of sin is destroyed (vs. 7) only after one is baptized into the death of Christ. Water is the mode for burial to contact the Lord's saving blood. For it mimics the death/burial/resurrection. As Christ overcame death and resurrected, when the body of sin is destroyed at baptism, one rises to walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:4). Newness of life = new birth, born again. It's that simple.

  • @vhopson let me give u the correct definition of baptism.....,,its a religious cerimony in which water is used as a SYMBOL of cleansing of sin.churches today baptise by sprinkling or immersing in water,Baptism is aSIGN thAT our sins are forgiven and washed away and that jesus has taken us to be his own,so as u can see,,its clearly a representation of salvation,,not a requirement.

  • @uwique Provide book/chapter/verse that teaches this. Thank you.

  • @vhopson teaches what?Provide book/chapter/verse that teaches this. Thank you.

  • what if a man is on his deathbed,,he repents,,and then dies without being baptised,,what happens to his soul?

  • @uwique When any man dies, he goes to judgment (Hebrews 9:28). The standard used for judgment will be the Word of God (John 12:48). God will be the judge. He will show mercy on those he wishes. Just like any courtroom. I'm a doer of the law, not a judge (James 4:11), so please stop trying to entrap me in your tricks. You remind me of the Pharisees who tried to trap Jesus in His words (Matthew 22:15).

  • @josephleehamm so please stop trying to entrap me in your tricks. You remind me of the Pharisees who tried to trap Jesus in His words (Matthew 22:15).ok..your copping out of the question and trying to blame me for entraping you when the bible says cleary to always be rady for an answer,,which your clearly not,,i know what your doctrine teaches, but u cant tell me for some odd reason

  • @uwique I believe that God would have the right to condemn us to hell for not being baptized considering the Bible instructs us to do so in order to wash away our sins or having forgiveness for them. That is my understanding of the Scriptures. If you look back through these comments, I have used Scripture and you have used doctrine taught to you by men (Colossians 2:8), probably baptists by the sound of it, but it also sounds like you have some penecostal doctrines mixed in.

  • @josephleehamm I believe that God would have the right to condemn us to hell for not being baptized considering the Bible instructs us to do so in order to wash away our sins or having forgiveness for them. i have used scripture too,,u sem to forget the ephsians scripture i gave u,,btw,,i goto a non denominational church,,and like u have said,,i'm just a christian

  • @josephleehamm i asked u before, where in the bible does it say u will goto hell if not baptised?

  • @uwique If one doesn't believe what God commands, one will not be baptized. Mark 16:16 shows the one who disbelieves what God commands will be condemned. If you are condemned, you are lost. With the conversion of the Philippian Jailor, he asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30). He was told to believe (vs. 31), then told what to believe (vs. 32), and he and his household were obedient (vs. 33). He was not saved until he was obedient for Christ saves the obedient (Heb. 5:9).

  • @vhopson You might argue that one cannot know if baptism was taught in vs. 32. If so, let's also look at the conversion of the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8:27-39. The Eunuch was reading from Isaiah (vs. 28), Philip asked if he understood what he read (vs. 30), Philip helped him (31-34). In vs. 35, Philip "preached Jesus". In vs. 36, the Eunuch said, "here is water; what hinders me to be baptized?" Thus, preaching Jesus includes preaching the necessity of baptism. He obeyed and rejoiced (vs. 39).

  • @josephleehamm these aint trick questions,,the bible has answers for them, but according to what u beleive, there is no answer for them,,just proves to show that the COC doctrine is wrong.

  • @josephleehamm i wonder if it would be a trap question if a COC member aked u the same questions.

  • @uwique Ask me the question you seek answers for. I will gladly provide you book/chapter/verse answers. Thank you.

  • @vhopson ok..if a person on his deathbed repents of his sins, then suddenly dies without beig baptised..what is his eternal destiny?

  • @uwique This hypothetical scenario of a disobedient person repenting on their deathbed does not have a biblical hope of heaven.God can have mercy on anyone He chooses but we will never know of that decision. All we can know is what the Bible teaches on the subject of salvation & choose to obey or reject. That one must hear (Rom. 10:17),believe (Heb. 11:6),repent (Luke 13:3),confess (Acts 8:37),be baptized (1 Peter 3:21)=added by the Lord (Acts 2:47).This deathbed scenario is risky and unbiblical.

  • @vhopson hypothetical?LOL,,means not enough evidence of,,well,,i can take u to the nearest hospice and show u plenty of evidence now can i?,there are people in hospice on their death bed and their days are numbered,,would u agree?but then again,,acvcording to your doctrine, without baptism,u are lost and going to hell,,now your telling me god can have mercy on somone on their deathbed??which 1 is it?

  • @uwique Many people are more concerned with what the Bible does not say rather than what the Bible does say. You are concerned with what the Bible does not say and create a scenario based on emotion. To clarify, one who lives in disobedience to God (their father is Satan, John 8:44) and calls on the Lord at the brink of death (remember, the demons believe, James 2:19) = Jesus says the disobedient will die lost (Mt. 7:21-23; 2 Thess. 1:8-9). Thus, the individual has no biblical hope of heaven.

  • @vhopson Many people are more concerned with what the Bible does not say rather than what the Bible does say. You are concerned with what the Bible does not say and create a scenario based on emotion.REally??your doctrine comes to the conclusion that a mAN goes to hell if not water baptised,,thats what your church says,,when there is clearly no scripture that says that.

  • @uwique the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9) comes to the conclusion that a man goes to hell if not water baptized (water is the mode for burial to contact the blood of Jesus Christ, per Romans 6:3-6; Acts 22:16, Rev. 1:5; 1 Peter 3:21). 1 Peter 3:21 says "baptism doth also now save us" (you do not believe this, do you?). Vs. 20 shows it references water baptism. There is only one baptism valid today (Eph. 4:4-6). Some hold to Holy Spirit baptism and Water Baptism (that's 2, not 1).

  • @vhopson the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9) comes to the conclusion that a man goes to hell if not water baptized (water is the mode for burial to contact the blood of Jesus Christ, per Romans 6:3-6; Acts 22:16, Rev. 1:5; 1 Peter ,,no,,the doctrine of the COC comes to that conclusion,,not gods word.

  • @uwique so your sayin the person went to hell evewn though he repented of his sins, but wasnt water baptised?

  • @uwique The apostle Peter joins the two, repentence and baptism, in Acts 2:38 as equally important in order to receive the forgiveness of sins. Peter did not instruct the Jews on Pentecost in Jerusalem to only repent.

  • @vhopson why should god save the disobedient??ok..now thats silly isnt it?..god died on the cross so he can save the lost and disobedient,,lol..cmon now!!LOL

  • @uwique So, salvation is not conditional? Why did the Jews ask, "what shall we do?" (Acts 2:37). Why did the Jailor ask, "what must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30).

  • @vhopson now what if the person is incapable of being baptised?,,he still goes to hell,,remember now,,repenting is obedience.

  • @vhopson why should god save the disobedient??why should he??so gods grace is not sufficient for people on their deathbed??,,when the bible says his grace is sufficient for us?

  • @uwique Did those individuals have the whole life available to obey but chose not?

  • @vhopson maybe he didnt know about the gospel,,why do u assume he did?

  • @vhopson provide c/v describing people goin to hell if not baptised.

  • @vhopson confession??get real!..what in the world do u think your doin when u repent??your confessing your sins to christ thru repenting,,repentance IS a confession of sin.

  • @uwique I've provided b/c/v. The scripture is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16-17). It is up to you to accept or reject it. If God teaches it & Jesus is God (John 1:1,14) & Jesus is head of His church (Eph. 5:23), you cannot separate the two. In Acts 16:15, Lydia asked Paul and those with him, "come into my house" (my house = her house). In vs. 40, it reads, "house of Lydia" (house belonging to Lydia). Jesus said, "My church(Mt. 16:18), thus it is the church of Christ (church belonging to Christ).

  • @vhopson The scripture is inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16-17). It is up to you to accept or reject i,,ive accepted it a long time ago,,the head of his church,,the church is the people,,the church is anyone who follows christ,,not just people in your church of christ..lol

  • @uwique In the Bible, we only read of one church (Eph. 4:4-6). In the epistles, the letters to those in Galatia, Ephesus, Corinth, etc. were to the same church in different locations. Jesus prayed for unity (John 17:21) and Paul taught that divisions condemned by God (1 Cor. 1:10). Further, denominations teach & practice different things. Do you believe this is acceptable to God? Is God the author of confusion? 1 Cor.14:33 says He is not.Can you show me denominations (divisions) in the Bible?

  • @vhopson the church of christ is not a denom like yours,,its anyone who follows christ wholeheartedly,,not a denom like yours that thinks theyre the only ones goin to heaven..lol..where did u get that interpretation?or better yet,,who in gods name tuaght u that?the followers of christ is the church,,not brick and mortar.

  • @vhopson Your deathbed individual remains in their sins, even with repentence alone for he/she has not contacted the blood. Jesus taught belief + baptism = salvation (Mark 16:16). Jesus did not teach faith only salvation (James 2:24). how does a person stay in their sins when he repents??u contradict scripture and exspress stupidity when u say that,,repentance is turning away from sin when u ask christ to forgive u,,see how simple that is??salvation is not a 123 step program

  • @vhopson I've provided b/c/v. The scripture is inspired by God (u provided wrong scripture.

  • @vhopson the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9) comes to the conclusion that a man goes to hell if not water baptized ,,no,,the bible says clearly,,repent or perish.

  • @uwique The bible also says "baptism doth also now save us" (1 Peter 3:21). Do you teach repentence only salvation? Thus, no belief, no confession, no baptism --- only repentence? Is this what you teach one must do to be saved?

  • @vhopson if your confessing your sins to god,you are repenting,,youyr telling god your sorry by confessing,,which is repenting,,no need to break it up intp lillte peices with theological babble.

  • @uwique Is that confession of sins that he is referring to? Acts 8:37, John 20:31, 1 John 4:15,1 john 5:15, Philippians 2:11

  • @uwique no beleif??beleif in what?,confessing what?

  • @uwique "ive watched this video and he exsplains it,,do u not undestand this video?" LOL In particular, WHAT did he explain? About all I got out of it is this: he spends all his time taking a verse/passage and trying to convince people that it does NOT say what it very emphatically DOES say. I've asked you about Acts 2 and Acts 22 and John 3 and I Peter 3 and Mark 16, and you haven't really explained much.

  • @lllannallll it wouldnt matter what i explained to you,,you wouldnt beleive it anyway now would u?,when i ask u a question,u answer me with a question,,is that how they train u people?

  • @uwique "it wouldnt matter what i explained to you,,you wouldnt beleive it anyway now would u?" What you've "explained" amounts to nothing. You steer clear of the Bible and run to the ICU ward or Hospice room. But you don't go there now, either.

  • @uwique "it wouldnt matter what i explained to you,,you wouldnt beleive it anyway now would u?" Haha. Is that your justification for lack of explanations? I've begged you to accept dictionary definitions. You won't. I've asked you to explain numerous Bible passages. You won't.

  • @lllannallll you mean like u with telling me god has only 1 true church, your misinterpretation of that scripture has started a arrogant doctrine called the COC,,the church of christ is a body of beleivers, and they can be in any denomination,,your church and u have become the very thing u hate.

  • @uwique "the church of christ is a body of beleivers" LOL No, it's not. Where'd you get that defintion? Another one from the 2nd verse, 4th chapter of your imagination? The church is the SAVED. A saved person is IN the church - and he didn't "join" it. A lost person is OUT of the church. Thus, you stopped far short. The church is the body of the saved - baptized believers with Jesus Christ as its head. Simple enough.

  • @uwique "this guy on this video could do alot better than i can" I think nearly anyone could. Anyone who invokes a MIRACLE to extend life for repentance, but let's the miracle STOP before baptism - and can claim such an absurdity with a straight face - had better LEAVE the ICU ward and sit down with a BIBLE.

  • @uwique Anyway, next time you are with a fella on his deathbed, you tell him he needs to believe, repent, confess, and be baptized. If he can't do some of those things, you just be sure to leave all that in God's hands. Don't make the mistake of basing your theology on it. How's that? I think that'll work well for you.

  • @uwique "u think i would tell them your false doctrine?" Not MY doctrine. You just read Peter's sermon to them in Acts 2 and follow throught to the conclusion. How's that? Know what? You can't do it! Isn't that a shame.

  • @uwique "we all know what your arrogant doctrine preaches" Oh, we know what YOURS teaches. Get this: God's hands EXTEND and miraculously extend a life so the dying man can repent, yet His hands are SLACKENED and SHORT if the fella wants to be baptized! Can ya top that? That's the most absurd theological nonsense I've ever heard.

  • @vhopson Remember that Jesus said not all who claim to love him will be saved (Mt. 7:21-23), only the obedient will be saved. The Bible says only the few will be saved (Luke 13:23-23; Mt. 7:13-14). 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 shows that those who completely reject God (e.g.,atheists) face the exact same fate as those who may claim to love God but lack obedience (false teachers). They both die lost. This may seem unfair to some, but God is a just God who possesses both goodness and severity (Rom. 11:22).

  • @vhopson thats good what u say and truth to it,,but try to stay to the point here,we are talking about how people are saved, not false teachers,,stay with the point,,can a person goto heaven without being baptised?

  • @uwique A person contacts the blood of Jesus Christ when baptized into Christ (Romans 6:3-6). All spiritual blessings are in Christ (Eph. 1:3) and the Bible declares it is baptism that places one into Christ (Galations 3:27). Thus, if one rejects the command of Jesus (Mark 16:16) which the apostles taught (Acts 10:48) = then that person does not love God (John 14:15), has not contacted the blood of Christ (Acts 22:16; Rev. 1:5) and is not in Christ (Gal. 3:27). This person is disobedient.

  • @vhopson Further, all New Test conversions show that the obedient did the same thing to be saved. Likewise, we must do the same today. We live in the New Covenant today (Heb. 9:15-18) which went into effect when Christ died on the cross since He was the testator. Many today point to examples such as the "thief on the cross" but the thief lived under the old covenant not the new. Further, Christ commanded baptism after His ressurection (Mk 16:16), a command the thief could not obey but we must.

  • @vhopson ok..listen closely to the word SAVED in here ok?for by grace we are SAVED thru faith,,you see that??your saved already thru grace,,,not thru water.

  • @vhopson obedience,,is doin what christ told u to to do,,and thats repent.

  • @vhopson what about a person who repnts of their sin, then leaves church and drops dead,,he wasnt baptised,,where does he go?

  • @uwique Since he never obeyed the gospel, he died a lost soul. Had he obeyed the gospel, then fallen away from the Lord and died, he would have died a lost soul. In Acts 8:5-24, we read of Simon the Sorcerer. Like those in Samaria who obeyed (vs. 12), Simon also obeyed (13). Thus, Simon was saved. However, he fell into sin (vs. 18-19). So, we have a saved man who fell into sin. At this point, he was lost. But Peter told him what he must do to make himself right with God again: repent (vs. 22).

  • @vhopson Since he never obeyed the gospel, he died a lost soul. Had he obeyed the gospel, then fallen away from the Lord and died, he would have died a lost soul.hes on his deathbed,,you see??your doctrine has already witten this guy off..lol,,i just told u he repented,he asked god to forgive him of his sin{thats godly sorrow}i'm talking about a person who was never a christian.

  • @uwique Anyone who dies disobedient to God dies lost. Please provide the scripture of God saving the disobedient. And a question, if the person had their whole life to obey God but chose rebellion, why should God have mercy at them at the end of their life? Consider the atheist, rejects God, ridicules the Bible, etc., and this atheist on their death bed cries out, "Lord, I know I disobeyed you all my life but now I face death, please save me now". Why should God (Rom. 11:22) save the disobedient?

  • @vhopson ok..so yur sayin there is no hope for somone on their deathbed right?

  • @uwique No biblical hope of heaven. Since we all must follow the same commands, if one does not and dies then the person died lost according to the Bible since they lacked obedience. Jesus only saves those who obey Him (Heb. 5:9) and will punish the disobedient (2 Thess. 1:8-9). It's not "me sayin", it's God's word that says.
